Hello everyone, so I've been gone for a while but heres my update on how Sadie is doing. So, last summer at the fair she won Champion with a score of 190 in Novice Agility JWW. But sadly didn't do as well in Regular Novice. She got distracted but we still won 1st with 170 points. In Obedience she did very good also. She won Reserve Champion with a score of 194. I need to work on tight leash, turns, and finishes. But she needs to stop sniffing all the time! Showmanship was our down point, with a score of 93 out of 100. We won third. We also tried Rally that day but did very badly. I missed an entire row of cards, so that was my bad.

But, next year we are for sure going to rock that place and bring in the gold! I've already got my poster done, and we've been practicing, practicing, nonstop! Especially in Showmanship and Rally. So wish us luck!

-Sadie & Alexis out!

Sadie has been doing very well lately in everything. About a month ago we registered her in AKC (WooHoo!) and she is going to be competing in AKC Agility Trials starting in April hopefully. We are all very excited, and we are planning on getting Sadie her CGC award, and having her certified as a therapy dog!

She is starting to get really good at heeling, and now I can have her heel easily without a leash. All I have to use is my voice and she will listen. Our comp is on 10/3, but I think she is ready!

OMG! Yesterday was her very first agility comp. She was in pre-novice. All the other people and dogs had already done comps, some of them quite a few. I was also the youngest person there, and my Sadie was the youngest dog in pre-novice. And guess what? We won. We were the only people who didn't get disqualified, but we made the time by about .30 seconds. We got a red ribbon because she had 80 points, and she kept passing by the jumps. She also knocked a bar. Other than that, it was clean. We got to run the novice jumpers course just for fun. She sped through that in about 40 seconds. She took a wrong course though, and went through the tunnel istead of over the jump. She did pretty good though. Maybe in a few years she can go to state after she gets novice done with.
