Arrival Story:
Humphrey was adopted on July 18, 2009, from the Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue. He was born in Bakersfield, Calif., and was surrendered to the Kern County Animal Shelter by his original owners because they "had too many dogs." He and a bunch of fellow Chihuahuas and Chi-mixes came up to the SHS on July 10 and we took him home eight days later.
Bio:
Humphrey is a real sweetheart who has battled kennel cough and now giardiasis, but he's always gentle and loving. When we first got him, he was unable to climb stairs or walk on a leash but now he does eagerly does both! He loves his walks.
