Arrival Story: Cinnamon was rescued by Fayettevilles own animal shelter in a puppy mill bust. This poor pup was only 92 lbs (3months before most of these photos) when she came to us for fostering, she had been wormed, and had just had a litter of pups pre~puppy mill bust so we don't know what happened to her pups. Cinnamon knew this was her home from the moment she met us, though we tried to say we where only going to foster her she quickly grabbed our hearts. Now she is a permanent helpful happy tailed part of our pack family. She is training to be a work dog like her brother Tigger who loves going to work with PawPaw each day (remodeling ). As long as weather permits , our work dogs main job is to be social, help people stay in a good mood , and remain social, as well as very well mannered and devoted. she is 2 1/2 yrs old and so much fun. Cinnamon since she was intended to be bread by a backyard breeder did not know what a toy was or any house rules when she first came here. Toys where actually the hardest thing to show her she could have. Now we see her with toys allll the time.. Life is great!
Sweet Sweet Cinnamon left this world far to young due to her neglect in the puppy mill before her rescue and adoption here.
We are grateful for the precious time we had with her and she with her happy tail with us. She healed us so much in her short time among our tribe.
Cinnamon could predict my strokes. Make the saddest sap smile.
She was 2 weeks away from being ready to pass her therapy dog test , when diagnosed with a bone condition from mal~nutrition while in the puppy mill and a broken tail bone healed wrong while giving birth there (she only weighed 92 lbs upon rescue at 2 years of age , a Great Dane)..
Gisella was a Glorious 164 lbs of muscle when she left, but her fused spine caused her to in the end seizure constantly and we had to let go of this precious gift.
I still feel her with me constantly.. Many blessings to you all.
Her Birthday just passed today we actually had papers on her.. so sad. so sad.. Just 4 she would have been this day.
Be well and love all those you have while you have them they are your your treasures in life.
