Arrival Story: We adopted Max in July '09 from a local shelter and he's been a warm and fuzzy companion ever since. After contacting dozens of shelters in the state with no results, we visited Warwick shelter a second time....and there was Max! We looked into his bright brown eyes and knew he was the one for us. The shelter called us a couple of days later and he came riding home with us in the front seat.

Bio: He loves stuffed animals, especially squeeky toys that are no longer squeeky after he plays with them. He loves tearing out the white stuffing and playing "find-the-squeeker-and-rip-it -apart". We come to find the house strewn with white stuffy stuff and Max sleeping exhausted on the couch. We are two of those home-owners that let our dog walk all over us (except when we want to get 8 hours of sleep). But, Max knows his basic commands (except he never seems to stay when we tell him to) and he's very gentle and good-mannered with people and doggies.

Forums Motto: Life's too short not to be happy doggie
