My favorite walk is anywhere where I can track...especially the doggie partk.

My best trick is "the look", and I also can sit when a treat is involved.
Arrival Story:
My brother told me about how great bassets were, and my husband Jason and I were looking to adopt a pup. Somone at work was giving away a basset, so we adopted Buddy. We had him for 3 months until my brother could come for him. When Buddy left us we were very sad and lonely for a new pup. I went out on petfinder and there was Maggie! She was in Kentucky, being fostered through the Humane Society. We went to meet her, and the next week picked her up and she has been with us ever since. Maggie is the sweetest girl, we want to give her all the love she could ever want! Maggie was a breeder dog, the vet thinks she has had about 2 litters of pups. When we got her she weighed about 30 lbs but had been in the shelter for about a month. She was found as a stray and had a collar mark around her neck.
Bio:
Maggie lives with 2 older brothers, Liono and Snarf, our kitty cats. She loves them, but they are not too sure about that...as cats tend to be.

My cat brother Snarf crossed the bridge yesterday. I miss him and my other brother Liono. He was sick so I know he is better now and is having fun. It's just me now in the houise which isn't all bad.

My brother, Liono the cat, crossed the bridge March 28, 2010. I miss him and wish he was still here. We got along well and its strange not seeing him around anymore. The humans are sad but getting better. So long Liono and see you again someday at the bridge...

Got my fence put in! Yay! It is so nice to be let outside and not be confined to the stake. I get to roam the yard and check out all the corners. I even get to leave behind my handiwork wherever I want, though its more work for the masters. Oh well, they'll get over it. Anyway, I wanted everyone to know the good news. Gotta go run!
