Arrival Story:
My husky of 14 years died and set me free to find a new companion. I looked all over the place (was in Montana at the time) and finally found her in Boise Idaho...only a 6 hour drive each way. The breeder held her for a week with no deposit until I could head over there and get my new buddy.
Bio:
Riva was described as having the best personality in her litter...I think this was a nice way of saying she is kind of a pushy brat! She is definitely the alpha dog and isn't afraid to talk back when asked or told anything. This also applies to me brushing my teeth or tying my shoes!
But, shortcomings aside (like talking back or not having any recall whatsoever), she is my best friend and I cherish the day she slept for 6 hours on my lap to go home...

So my friends on Husky Heaven decided that I was special enough to get a membership upgrade. Now I get to watch my mum tell the rest of the world how I am THE best dog in the world!!! I don't think she minds, but she's whining right now about having to do more work. She gets mad at me when I whine...maybe I should make HER sleep in the poofy chair tonight while I get the big bed!
Anyway...I'm the best dog in the world like I said...oh and the cutest and smartest and...well you know! ;-) I'm not always well behaved and mum just got a couple of books to try to change that. Hahahaha...like she can change me! Never! I'll let her think she's getting it, but my secret will be that I can do whatever I want whenever I want. I am kind of a turd that way! teehee
Mum was going to get me a puppy for Christmas, but the landlord said that one of me was more than enough. The puppy would've been fun, but I don't know if I want to share my mum with anyone that might compete for being cute! I think she's pretty sad, but she knows that somebody out there really needs the little puppy she wanted. So I get her all to myself forever!!!!
Well...time to hit the dogbed. Big licks to Smokey, Buddy, Tigger & Taz for nominating me and to Sasha Belle, Nadya Snow White, Emme, Bailey the Beagle, Teddy and Corky Monster for making me a "plus"!!! I'll try to stay on Mum to keep everyone posted on my misbehaving!
