Arrival Story:
One of our neighbors had a Rottweiler that had two beautiful puppies, one girl one boy. The girl was a pure Rottweiler and the boy was a mix. He was two weeks younger than his sister and had beautiful blue eyes. Since we already had Champ we got the boy instead of the girl. He was six weeks when we got him. He was so adorable and cute! As he grew, he was still beautiful but got into tons of trouble. He was a mix between two powerful and energetic breeds but we had a small house with a small backyard and could not provide the exercise he needed because of our baby sister. We have a big family so we all had to be taking care of the baby. As soon as he turned two, we were moving. We couldn't take him with us. We had to give him away. That was the saddest moment of my life. But I knew it was best for him, because we would find a family that could care for him and give him all the exercise he needed. Luckily, one of our aunt's friend was looking for a dog and loved big energetic dogs. Rino wasn't so big but he was extra energetic. As soon as she got to our home, I was so sad I had to leave him, but I didn't hold back, I knew it was the right thing to do. We gave her our phone number and told her if at any case she couldn't take care of him, to give him back to us. I was glad it was a family friend because I could visit him for his birthday. But as soon as we called to visit, she told us she had moved to an apartment and couldn't keep him so she gave him to someone else, but did not get their phone number. I was really furious but didn't say anything. Now I just hope he's in a good home and not in a shelter. We lost most of his baby pictures in our other computer but thankfully I printed them all while we had them there. Rino, I hope you are in a wonderful home, I miss you so much!

All the time while he was little I would train him and bathe him. He loved the water coming out of sprinklers or hoses and would chase it around all day, though he would be scared of going in the beach or pools. On the contrary, Champ loves beaches and pools but hates water from sprinklers or hoses. What a pair. Those two dogs were like brothers, they loved each other a lot. Although, Rino would very often start fights but Champ never followed. Another thing Rino would do was steal Champs food so they would have to eat seperatly. He would always be so happy :) I miss him so much :(

Forums Motto:
Rino The Demon Sweetheart

Rino was always happy and cheerful, he would eat and chew through everything! If you've read the book or seen the movie, Marley and Me, you would have a full description of his personality! He was really a great dog by heart, don't think it was just jaws and teeth! He was a beautiful animal :)
