Arrival Story:
When I lost Alex, there was a hole in my life that only a Schnauzer could fill. Those who know and love Schnauzers understand what I mean, and those who love other breeds, probably feel that way about them. I started looking on rescue sites, because I believe in the work they do. Then someone I work with suggested "Craig's List". I had never been to "Craig's List", but thought I would try. I found 2 listings, and contacted both by email. One had already found a home, but the other responded that the dog was still available. This one also said there was a re-homing fee, which was fine with me. The pup was in a town about 2 hours from me, so we set up a meeting half-way in between. I was pretty sure I was going to come home with a dog anyway, but when I laid eyes on Sam, I knew. He was perfect on the hour ride back to his new home.
