Arrival Story:
Bisbee was abandoned during Christmas behind a garage in a small gravel area that held garbage cans. She is very shy; it took years before she would let me approach her without squatting down and looking away. She likes to be noticed and will follow me around but cringes when petted. She smiles and bounces after being petted so I think she actually likes it, but is scared when she is being touched. Whenever she goes to the vet for her shots, I have to carry her in, her legs stop working, at least until it is time to leave.
11/17/2012 I was having a nice day yesterday, a little slow and stiff but a good day. Yesterday afternoon I had a stoke, spell, or something. My legs stopped working all of a sudden. I was made comfortable and spent time with my people. Today Sunday 18 2012 I went to sleep and left for the great wheel. I left sadness behind, but I will go onto my next life with the knowledge that I was a good dog.
