Lucie was left in a campground in Greensboro with no food or water for one week. I volunteer in the shelter that she was brought to and she was in the newspaper for their home for the holidays event with a rawhide candycane sticking out of her mouth and my dad saw her picture and said he'd like to have her, so that's how we adopted Lucie.
