Arrival Story:
A friend of mine from work, her husband works for a assissted living home. There was a dog that was just hanging around there. People would pet her & play with her a bit. Her husband took pity on her & took her home. Unfortunately they could not keep her. She was asking around if anyone wanted a dog & again I said I would take her. I had to work on my huband a bit b/c she is a bigger dog. He agreed that we could bring her home so I went & got her. She actually turned out to be bigger than we thought, but again love at first sight. We thought that she could be a friend for Gidget so I named her Amiga. Gidget is a jeaslous dog & they just were not going to be friends. They would just have to be family. I shortened her name to Ami. She has one eye where is looks like she went a little crazy with the cat eye look. There is a singer named Amy Winehouse who does the same thing. That's where I got her middle name.
