Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: February 2nd 2006
 Likes: Being outside!

Pet-Peeves: Cats that roam freely through the neighborhood

Favorite Toy: A stuffed panda bear

Favorite Food: Pretzels

Favorite Walk: Beside you, walking all around the 3/4 acre, fenced backyard.

Best Tricks: Looking at a treat right in front of her nose, until you tell her "Okay, take it!"

Arrival Story: I was a bachelor's dog and although he loved me a lot, he traveled quite a bit and felt guilty that I needed to be boarded so often. He wanted to do "the right thing" for me, so he asked friends if they would like to adopt me. My Dad's Realtors often came to the house and had seen how extremely well-behaved I was, so they were happy to adopt me and welcomed me into their home.
They already had "Goldie" (a 17 year old Golden Retriever mix) and there had never been another pet in their home since they had her, but I was always very tender & sweet with her and we got along fine. I've been with them for a year and a half now and "Goldie" recently passed away. My family is spending extra quality time with me right now to help us all through the transition.

Bio: The vet said I'm a chow-shepherd mix. I am the color of a red chow and have a blue chow tongue, but I have the eyes and tail of a shepherd.

Forums Motto: I LOVE TO CHASE RABBITS!

Lost my doggy pal, Goldie, this month. She had a long, good life but it was getting to be too much for her and her quality of life had really deteriorated. At age 17 1/2 she was laid to rest. We miss her, but know that she's not hurting anymore and is in a better place. She was one of the sweetest and most gentle dogs we've ever known and she loved us as much as we loved her. There will never be another one like her.
