My New Brother

My new brother, Cosmo, arrived on August 2, 2009. My kitty, my brother and I have kept Mom and Dad very, very busy. Cosmo and I are very close in age; we are only a few months apart. Mom says it is like having a house full of two year olds!

I put a new picture on my page. My Mom was worried, because everytime I tried to add the picture, nothing happened. We were both very surprised to open my page one day and see the new photo there! Isn't my new brother cute?

Cosmo has been a bad influence on me. I was such a sweet little girl, even a bit timid. Not anymore!! I get into as much mischief as he does. I also act very agressive whenever anybody comes to the house. Cosmo barks too, but then he wants to jump all over the person and give them kisses. He'll give kisses to anyone; I'm much more selective. But I love my new brother and nobody can say anything bad about him except me! We go to play group and the dog park. If another dog gets too rough with one of us, the other one comes to their rescue. Mom thinks it is cute and says we "tag team" the other dogs.

Mom has promised Cosmo that she will set up a page for him real soon. When she does, you can read all about him too. Well, gotta go now, Mom says it is time for breakfast.

My First Woofday!!

Well, I finally made it to my first woofday. Hooray for me!! I have received cards from my furiends. They are so nice and thoughtful, what a great group!

Mom said the transport company called last night and said they broke down in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. That means my new little brother won't be here until nighttime. I really wanted to go out in the yard and run and play with him this afternoon. That's a real bummer. Now I am depressed, and when girls get depressed, they go shopping. Dad caught me going through his pant's pockets looking for money. How can I go shopping without money? Maybe Dad will let me go with him to the dump today.

Yay, I got to go with Dad. When I came home, I got some new toys for my birthday and some people food in my dish. Yummy, chicken! Later on, Mom put some ice cream in my dish. I love my Mom!

This was a fun day for me. I went on the Cookie Cafe tour and got to see all the gardens and ate some yummy cookies that Noel and his Mommy made for everyone.

Life just keeps getting better

This Saturday, August 1, I will be one year old. Not bad for someone who almost got euthanized! And on my woofday, I will meet my new brother! Yay! Mom and Dad have to meet the transport in the afternoon and pick him up. His name is Cosmo. I can't wait to introduce him to all my pup pals. My kitty won't play with me, but I bet Cosmo will play with me.

Mom took me to a big picnic last weekend. There were a lot of people there. It was kind of scary, but Mom stayed by my side and introduced me to everyone. I was very nervous, but Mom said everything was okay and I let the people pet me. Everyone thought I was so pretty and sooo well behaved. Mom said she was very proud of me. Maybe that's why she didn't yell at me when I peed and pooped on the rug today. I tried to be good, but Mom wasn't home and I just couldn't hold it anymore.

Mom and Dad took me to my play group tonight. I had so much fun. I conquered my fear of the pool and jumped in with all the other dogs. Wow, I wish I had done this sooner. It was so hot and humid today and that water felt so good. I kept going back in and jumping out. It was great fun standing in front of people and shaking the water off my fur! Afterwards I went to my obedience class and learned some new commands. The teacher was impressed with how quickly I learned the commands. I got lots of treats for that. It was a busy day, and now I am pooped. I think I will go to bed early tonight.
