6-25-09 Hi, its me! Cutie-patoonie GiGi checking in again. Life has been good
but I still really really want my very own forever home. My foster mom
keeps telling me I'm simply precious and that folks just need to see
me to realize how lively and adorable I am. --I have been visiting the
coast with another skinmom and her two boxers. She says she can't
believe how easy I am and how well I just came in and made myself at
home. She lets me have free roam in her house even when she is away
because I've shown her that -Yes! I was well-loved once upon a time
and I behave wonderfully inside the house/ no accidents or barking.
We go on long walks each evening and she says I walk so well on the
leash that she can walk all three of us furbabies together. She gets
giddy and loves it when everyone comes to love up on me in the
stores and we are out and about. Last week, a man honked at the
stoplight just to tell her what a beautiful boxer girl she had with
her, I'm guessing they were talking about me since I was the only one
with her. I love to ride and especially sit up in the passenger seat
to make sure she knows the way to the pet store. The pet store means
lots of people, other dogs, children, and of course toys and treats
(the squeaky toys are my favorite)--and I love it all! Sometimes she
calls me ' cuddle bumkin' because I can't hep but sigh a lot when we
all cuddle together. Don't get me wrong I have learned to sleep on my
dog bed-- but, of course, I would rather snuggle up beside my forever
momma or daddy. I'll just settle in for my afternoon nap beside the
female boxer here while I wait for my new family to find me. If you
want to know more, my foster mom has much more to share with you
because she just loves to talk about me--I can tell because I keep
hearing her say my name with that voice that sounds like a sweet
smile.
4-1-09 GIGI here. I just wanted to give some updates.
I am now heartworm free. I had my treatment and everything was textbook. I explained to my foster mom and the vets for that matter that i knew it would be, but do they ever listen...NO! I am having a great time in my foster home but I would love to have a family to call my own. Dont let this grey on my face fool 'ya. I am a young girl at heart. My foster mom laughs at me b/c i wont use the stairs on the back porch when i have to go potty, i just fly right off the side like a 'fairy' with wings. I am so graceful when i do it too. I say whats good for the goose is good for the gander and I tell you what, I am no OLD GOOSE!
I am very smart too, i am perfecting my five S: sit, stay, shake, sneeze and speak. I really dont need any perfecting on them but my foster mom just can't seem to get the command right all of the time (hehe). I love going on walks too, with all this rain, we haven't gotten out much but i just love it. I am not sure if i mentioned there are FIVE, yes FIVE other dogs in the house right now. I love them all but my favorite is the young girl named Miley who i am teaching how to be a good pup. boy she is bad but i have so much fun with her. I love to wrestle and play with her too! There are two cats here too and although they are fun to chase once in a while, we sleep together on the bed at night with NO issues. so, if you are looking for a lady who needs a forever home, someone who knows how to behave and just loves life...well that ME, GIGI~
2-23-09 Hi Everyone, GIGI here.
I am currently going through heartworm treatment and got back to the vet on friday 2/27/09 to get my last shot! I have done great with my treatment so far. I am really hoping that I will have a FOREVER family look at my pictures and want to adopt me. I am such a wonderful girl. No one is sure of my age and I am not revealing it either but the vet guesses i am between 9-11 years old. I dont act my age at all. I love to run and play with the puppy in the house (she is on year old), I love to go on walks (i am great on a leash) and I absolutely adore affection from people. I love to rough house with my foster mom and can box with the best of them. I am great in my crate, I will go right in with a treat and I love ball, toys, rope bones...you name, i will play with it. There is nothing better to me than sitting with you on the couch or curling up beside you to keep you warm at night. Dont let the grey on my face fool you. I am one happy, hyper boxer girl and would love for you to consider me as your next family member!
Hi guys, its me GIGI. I was looking on my petfinder page and saw I didn't have a write up. I guess i am having such a good time in my foster home that i just forgot! Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a petite girl, i weigh about 45 lbs now and I think i need to gain about five more. I 'prance' when I walk, you know you have to strut your stuff when you look good. I get along well with all dogs i meet and love my people. I know how to sit, shake and stay. My foster mom says how great I am at stay. she will leave the room and I will be in the same spot when she returns. I love to listen. I go in my crate when asked and walk well on a leash. I am getting ready to start my heartworm treatment. My foster brother Ben Crafton has told me there is nothing to it. I truly hope you will adopt me and be my Christmas present this year. I truly want a family of my own
