In November of last year it was time for a protein switch so she started off with Acana Pacifica & Nature's Variety Instinct Beef & Lamb Kibble...Nature's Variety Instinct Beef & Lamb is extraordinary but expensive!....however benefits outweight it all...
In December 2010 she got her rabies/bodetella because she's going to go on a trip to California or that was the plan back then..
January 2011 she got a dental cleaning..she got her second rabies then I noticed she started to hump more...The girl is supposed to be spayed!!so I decided to look into vaccination and found that vaccines do more harm than good...eventually it was settled no more vaccines,no more heartworm meds or flea meds(Revolution)..I do have other natural prevention to prevent fleas if we ever get any...Being in Hawaii it COULD happen..2 months later and still no fleas..She's been eating Nature's Variety Instinct Beef & Lamb which has ACV & has greatly reduced her tear stains more than all the other high end brands we have tried!Behavior wise she's getting better too!

Once I found out that she had to get a titer & there was no way around the fact that we COULD only give her 1/3 of the Frontline for the trip to California which caused another maltese/toy poodle to have a seizure after applying the full dosage which was supposed to be for dogs 11-25 pounds...This maltese/toy poodle is the same size as Lacey! so I could not risk that and have that on my conscience because of a bad decision so although we got her titered we decided to skip the trip to California & take her to Maui instead..

Also from about March of this year I have started to give Lacey some raw meat...The Raw Food forum was very helpful...One of the main reasons I started feeding Lacey raw meat is to help with her teeth but so far not looking into it full time YET! but defiantly in the future...and within the past 3 weeks she is slowly accepting raw meat...Teeth has shown a major improvement although she gets dry,can as well still no tarter build up or plaque on the teeth compared to before!So far she is doing amazing since she turned 2 back on the 13th of March!
