Arrival Story:
I was stationed (Army) in Germany in the early 1990's and one day while flipping through channels I came across a herding competition on Eurosport (european version of ESPN). I was mesmerized by the dogs and their abilities to discern what their handler wanted by merely a look or a whistle. I knew that I wanted one of these special dogs.
My wife and I were married on November 1st, 1997, and went to Southern California on our honeymoon. Immediatley upon returning we went to a breeder in Tennessee, just to look, at little Border Collie puppies. My wife still wasn't sure, until she saw "the fat one" and we took Breacher home.
I had done my homework on the breed and we were ready for the little fur-kid even though we lived in a small one bed room apartment. Breacher quickly became our most treasured companion and stole our hearts.
Bio:
Breacher has lived in many states (thanks to the US Army) including, Tennessee, California, Alabama, Alaska and finally North Carolina. His life has always been active until recently as his age has caught up with him and he suffers from arthritis and being overweight (ahh, the spice of life!). He is still our most treasured animal companion.
