Arrival Story:
Daisy was recued after the passing of a sweet cocker spaniel spaniel named Mercy, who had been rescued from the side of the road. We had been visiting the pound for awhile when we checked a local pet store adoption day. We helped unload the dogs for a local rescue group. Kinda disappointed that there were no smaller dogs we asked about puppies. They still needed to be unloaded. After pushing the first pen load into the store a tiny little 6 pounder was passed from the crate in the back of a van into the MRS.'s arms and she never let go. She filled out the paperwork and bought a collar and leash. The lady in charge explained that the pup could not go home until a home visit was made. We convinced the dedicated lady we lived near enough she could come on by. The rest is history.....

Bio:
Miss DAISY has had a few challenges, like separation anxiety and something called fear aggression. But considering her very scarey puppyhood before she came to us she does very well. We think we rescued her but she's the best cure there is for empty nest.
