a pug's life for me!

pugdate time!

so on tueday it was my 7 week "birthday." mommy said i am growing up so fast. she gave me a couple presents, mostly toys to chew on instead of people fingers and i got a nice comfy blanket which i like to snuggle with. BUT the blanket has hello kitty on it. what is up with mommy and all the hello kitty stuff? first a bed, then a carrier and now a blanket. doesnt mommy know i am a big bad dog? i dream about chasing cats and then i have to wake up to one all pink and smiling at me! enough is enough. i hope mommy takes the hint because all day in front of her i chewed on one of the hello kitties faces. i almost ripped a hole in my new blankey, but that hello kitty kept staring and smiling at me and didn't look scared enough. they really need to come up with a hello puggy character, but till then i am on a mission to destroy all my kitty stuff.

i still am going to work with mommy which is getting kind of boring, so i just sleep all day. i go for walks a lot but i really wish my auntie sierra a golden retriever would come to work with me so i could play with her. playing with yourself gets boring sometimes, so then i go try to chew on mommys feet. today mommy played a bad joke on her boss which i was not happy with. mommy found this fake poop that looks exactly like mine at target, and when her boss was gone she put it in his office. he was not happy, let me tell you that, so he came in kind of pissed off and then mommy said it was fake and just a joke. he thought it was funny afterwards, but i do not think it's funny because i didn't poop in his office! i mean i wish i could, but for a minute i felt like i was in trouble for something i didn't even do. i have however peed in mommys office three times now and pooped once, shhh no one else knows. i am trying my hardest to hold my bladder but it is just too small. last night i sleep soundly from 10:30pm to 6:30am though and mommy was so happy. usually i will wake her up twice to go, but last night i really held it to be a big girl. tonight on the other hand may be a different story. i slept all day at work so now i am soooooooo awake!

wow, what a week its been. i’ve been at my new forever home for a week now and it has flown by. mommy says i have been the best girl ever! i have not left her side. i am one busy pug with a fulltime job. okay i don’t have the job, mommy does but she takes me to work with her everyday. the whole office loves me but that’s just a given. duh! going to work with mommy is lots of fun though. i get to play and run around her office and she brings all kinds of toys for me destroy. i take naps in the new bed by her feet she got me which i must say is super comfortable and cute. it's a pink bed with hello kitty on it. yeah i know hello kitty is a cat and seems like it should be for cats, but it’s too cute. i even have a matching carrier which is too big for me but i will grow into it. throughout the day all mommy’s coworkers fight over who gets to take me to go out to go potty and who gets to play with me. well they do when i'm not sleeping which is 80% of the time. when mommy takes me out people take pictures of me on their camera phones because i am so adorable. mommy calls them pugarazzi. i like meeting new people though. we also have gone to petsmart lots, of course to buy me toys. i can never have enough. mommy said she spent too much though (over $100) on just toys but you know i am so worth it! i am seriously being treated like a princess here, but you know what? i deserve it! okay time to go back to chewing up that sock. happy new year everyone!
