YAY

Mom has kept me calm for a week and on pain medications, i am back! I went to the vet the other day and it turns out that i will get to go to my agility trial after all. Mom had me training today in the "home-made" course! I got new pics on my site if you wanna see. Thanks to all who said prayers. I made it! Paco

I hurt bad today

Mom came down to me this morning and gave me my medication. I sat down with her and attempted to lay on her lap but i hollered and got up. Then pain shot down my back and down my back legs. I cried for what seemed like hours and my mom was right there hugging me and reassuring me that the pain would soon pass. I hurt bad today for some reason. I hope the pain reliever kicks in soon. I love my mommy, i'm glad she was there with me.

Mystery Resolved

Mom Took me to the Vet today for a professional exam. The Vet was very nice to me. She found exactly where i was hurting. I cried a bit and then she took me and my mom back to the weight machine and got my weight. Then we went back into the office and the vet left us alone. She came back with my diagnosis. I have a back injury. I lodged one of my vertabra against another and although i could still walk, i cried every once and a while. They rubbed on me a bit and then prescribed me medications. Mom loved on me all night and even brought me in the house. The vet said that i am not allowed to do any more practice runs. I might still make it to the course in Feb. I will keep you posted. I seem better......

My Mom came down to me today and petted me. I am feeling better already and i can't stand it that i am not running the practice runs today. I love to do that. I want to hurry up and get better so that my mom and i may continue with agility. My leg still hurts sometimes, when i run or trot especially. I usually just walk, and every once and a while that hurts too. I am feeling better then i did though...Well I'll write more later. Pup pals- Thanks for the encouragement. You guys are terrific.

Paco Got hurt today

Paco was doing practice runs through the "homemade" agility course, warming up.....and he had a bad fall and hurt his back hip. He is out of practice and any further involvement with agility until he makes a full recovery.
