Arrival Story:
I was a stray found in a rural area and taken by animal control to a high kill shelter in Ohio. I was discovered there by a Canadian Rescue who, fearing my fate, transported me to a foster home in Ontario. From there my Moms came and met me, then reappeared a week later and brought me to their home. At first I was a mess. I came to the rescue emaciated and was desperately frightened of touched and being spoken to. When my family stripped all the dead fur from my coat several cracked and healed ribs were revealed. The first time my mom asked me to sit, as she held a treat in her hand, I was so frightened of doing something wrong I hid under a table and peed.

Bio:
I've come so so far since my adoption, most meet me now think I am some expensive exotic breed and have no idea I was a rescue. My family describes me as a sensitive high energy dog. I impress everyone with my intelligence, good looks and tricks. I'm friendly and calm with my family, shy but respectful with strangers. Did I mention I can out run every dog in the dog park? I'm so fast!
