Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:
-mutt-pound dog

Birthday:
November 1st 2008

Likes:
I love to play tog-o-war and to RUN! I like to bite when I play, which isn't my parents' favorite habit!

Pet-Peeves:
I do not like fast movement of people, mainly kids.

Favorite Toy:
I love my fleecy ball and my Flea. I picked out Flea by myself at a pet store! I also love my tug rope.

Favorite Food:
I am VERY picky when it comes to food. I prefer human food, or wet dog food.

Favorite Walk:
I like to be at the beach. My parents take me for walks at parks, but I like the sand the best.

Best Tricks:
I am very stubborn. I can sit and come, but I like to do my own thing.

Arrival Story:
My husband wanted to get a dog. I agreed to look at some and we went to a shelter in Cicero, Illinois. The pets they had were mostly adopted and awaiting pickup. They had one puppy and maybe two older dogs. The puppy caught my husband's eye because she looked like a dog he had growing up. We put in an application at the shelter, but they told us we had no chance of getting this dog because so many people already wanted her. She was the last one of her litter to be adopted. We, instead, put in the application for a tiny dog called Chrissy. We got a call some days later, before Valentine's day, and we're told the dog we put our application in for was sick with heartworms (the reason she was returned from the previous adopter) and that we couldn't adopt her. They, then, offered us the last "golden retriever" I couldn't say no. She was at the gate of the crate trying to get out to give us kisses, and my husband wanted her so badly. We picked her up the next day and took her to her forever home.

Bio:
We aren't exactly sure of her breed mix. We have gone through so many different options. In adopting her, we were told she is Labrador/golden retriever mix. She only weighs about 25 lbs so it's obviously a wrong mix. Her tail curls like a husky, but since she's small, the vets guessed she might be American Eskimo/golden retriever mix.
