This beautiful dog was a favourite. She appears to be a Lab/Plott Hound/Border Collie x and is the dog in the primary photo. She's a couple years old and around 40 lbs. She is the sweetest little girl and was so hard to part with, although she went to an awesome home. Her only drawback was her pulling and some leash aggression towards other dogs, but she behaved wonderfully with Ollie and with dogs she got to meet rather than see from a distance. I believe both of these have been curbed now. She was found under a bridge in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and adopted a litter of puppies. After being rescued by a kill shelter, she was pulled and brought up to Canada to Pawsitive Match Rescue. She was in another foster home for 4 months, before coming to us. She stayed with us for 6 weeks and had many apps by the end of that. She was adopted to a wonderful couple and is doing great.

Name- Valentina (Tina)
Previous name- Negro

This little girl we think is a Schnauzer/Poodle/Bichon x, she is the 2nd dog down (including primary picture). She's a couple years old and very sweet. She's our 2nd foster who we had from December 4th-22nd I think. Very cute and odd looking girl who's very playful. Don't know anything about her past unfortunately. She got a great home with 2 cats and 2 young grandkids who visit often as well a couple long walks a day.

Name- Graciana (Graci)
Previous name- Maggie Mae

Love this dog! Probably a Manchester Terrier x and we had her when she was 3 months old, now she's over a year old. So well behaved and very smart, 3rd picture down. Learned to ring the bell to go outside without any training other than Ollie doing it. Did a cute high five staring at her paw when she did it. Her favourite toy is a fluffy, squeeky, pink barbie purse, went home with her and was still there when we visited her. She was found with her brother, Rusty, a little light brown pup. They were found in a Mexican golf course, covered in fleas and ticks and starving to death, are now loved members of their families. Maya was so shy and fear aggressive towards other dogs. We had her for 6 weeks and she improved greatly during that. When we first got her, she would pull to the end of her leash, yelping madly and almost flipping over trying to get away, the day we sent her home, she ran beside a stange dog at a dog park before veering off to come back to us. Is now in a loving home with 2 cats and her dad.

Name- Chica
Previous name- Maya

What can I say except insanity? This dog competes with Border Collies in energy level! I think she's a Cairn Terrier/Dachshund x, Cairn Terrier look, Dachshund body, she's the 4th picture down. She always was trying to chase our feet down the stairs and do crazy stuff like that. Very sweet and loyal, but we were relieved to see her go home after 6 weeks as we were quite worn out. However, that adopted didn't work out. After the 2 week trial period, she was returned and was a different dog. I wonder what happened to her. Was it abuse? Was it just the Westie there irratating her so much? We weren't able to take her back as we had a different foster, but what I have heard is awful. She was shaking badly when picked up at their house and was supposedly possessive of bones. I met her adoptive family at the Pet Expo this year and they told me she was kicked out of obedience class because she's so dog aggressive, so needs a private trainer. This totally outgoing little girl who never showed any sign of aggression other than playfighting with other dogs kicked out of obedience class due to aggression?! Her adopters were so surprised to hear that she used to be so awesome with dogs. Even with this sad news, there is good news in the adoption, she is the love of her mom's life and has settled down a little bit after a few months.

Name- Ginny
Previous name- Lluvia

This little guy is a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle/Maltese x and is in the 5th picture. Very hyper, but not near as hyper as Ginny. He's supposed to be 4 years old (now 5), but he looks and acts much younger, so I'm guessing he's more around 2 now. We fostered him with Haven/Trivi, the Pit Bull x pup in the picture with him as Trivi was flying up and had no foster. He went to the Humane Society of Cabo San Lucas as his person died. From Mexico he came up to Canada to escape the kill shelter. He's very sweet and was in a foster for over a month before he came to us for a couple weeks, then found his family. He now has a Shih Tzu x rescue brother and a wonderful couple for parents.

Name- Bombon
Previous name- Bombon
