Arrival Story:
We were searching all over for him. Eventually we came across an ad in the paper from a wonderful dog trainer, Albert Parayre, who could no longer keep him because Kilo encountered a knee injury while training. As Albert had Kilo's 11 brother's and sisters to train he could not take the time needed to rehabilatate him. Kilo worked with Mark doing security at the new Ft Lauderdale's Vetrans Hospital while it was being built and now he is retired and enjoying the good life at home with us and his dam Kaila and is now the proud daddy of 10 precious little puppies.

On Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009, I became a daddy. It was very exciting and scarey at the same time. One minute Kaila and I were running and playing together in the yard and the next thing I know its time to go to bed and she just wouldn't relax. She was pacing the floors until the wee hours of the morning and at around 2:30AM (actually it was the 24th now that I think about it), she layed in her favorite spot and just began popping out puppies. My daddy was helping her deliver and they were slimey and yucky but I felt so proud nevertheless. My blessed Kaila delivered 10 healthy puppies in all! We are all so proud of her! Now we have a full house and we all could not be happier.

It has been exciting watching them grow, they have just started to walk and play and their eyes have opened...now I feel comfortable to go in and see them and try to give my blessed Kaila a break. She has been so good and is taking wonderful care of them. I am going to have to treat her to a day at the spa soon to give her a break.

This is the most exciting thing that happened to me since my daddy took me to the doggie park for the first time!

All and all, I am looking very forward to the fun filled days ahead of us.
