Arrival Story:
I wanted a puppy for my birthday, and looked for weeks but found nothing that caught my interest. One day I heard of some pups that were almost ready to find new homes. I called them and set up a time and place to meet to put down a deposit if I found one I liked. When we arrived there was a grown chihuahua, a basket of jack russells, and a basket with Emily and her brother. I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her, just a tiny little ball of fur, with those big round eyes. When I asked how old she was, they didn't know for sure. Her brother was quite a bit larger than her, and when I was checking things on her I found that she was infested with fleas and her poor little belly was swollen with worms (two types as it turned out). I just knew if I let her go back there, she would die. So I told them that I wanted to take her home right then and would pay cash. And so we added another member to our family.
