Mr. Jim, Sonny Bunners, Sir Barks Alot, Mr. Jimmers, PI Pup, Pup Diddy

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:

It's a three-way tie between eating, sleeping and playing. Oh and cuddling... the kissing game... the backyard... when people come over... car rides... What was the question again? Oh yeah... the easier question is what I don't like.

When Mommy's not devoting 150% of her attention to me. Skateboarders. People running that aren't wearing excercise clothes, what are they thinking? Getting picked on at the Dog Park. I just don't understand why EVERYONE doesn't like me.

Favorite Toy:
Anything I can tug but my new love is tennis balls, mmmm-bouncy tennis balls.

Favorite Food:
Chicken definitely chicken! Cheese is good too. I fully expect the ends of sandwiches and licking Mommy's plate when she's done eating, but that's a given.

Favorite Walk:
Walk? Who walks anymore, I run. ;)

Best Tricks:
Kisses and conning my Mommy out of food.

Arrival Story:
Sonny came to me via my Mother who's getting older and had high hope of Sonny being 5lbs and instead of 15lbs and rough and tumble man he turned out to be. When she moved to LA Sonny officially became mine. However, Sonny had me at first lick. When my mother went to pick out Sonny I was holding two of his brothers and wanted her to take both of them home. She was holding Sonny at the time and had fallen in love with him, I was hesitant at first but the second I held him in my arms he looked into my eyes and gave me a smooch. That's all I needed and I've been in love with my little man ever since.

Just you're typical city dog that enjoys sniffing, licking and Sushi.

The Life of Sonny Jim - A tale of intrigue

Another Day in the Life of Sonny Jim

Today I got to sleep out on the couch, which in case you didn't already know is great fun. I like when my Mommy falls asleep in the living room because it means I get to have the run of the entire house instead of just her room and the hall. Then I went out in the backyard for some well-needed time with the tennis ball. I'm finally starting to feel more like myself after that mean dog attacked me. Then back inside for some more play time and some TV watching. I definitely wasn't happy though when Mommy had to go to the dentist and then decided to have lunch in the Castro without me. I sniffed her from head to toe when she got home and then pouted, however, she told me that it was a good thing she went to have lunch because she ran into Bruno's Daddies at Squat and Gobble and found out that they talked to the mean dog's owner. Apparently he still doesn't feel bad about what happened. Mommy said she was going to stop by the dog park to post up a sign for his information before going to work but she laid down for a couple hours and I tried to snuggle real close instead of helping her wake up. I hate when Mommy has to go to work but she tells me that we would have a house or food otherwise. I think this is weird since I stay at home and all I have to do is look cute and I get to have those things and a bunch of toys. Mommy's at work now but I'm at home with Uncle Francis and Mommy Kathy so I'm okay. I can't wait until Mommy gets home because then I get more time in the backyard.

My First Day on Dogster

My Mommy used Dogster when she obsessive looked for just the right dog park for me. I loved the dog park but last time I went I got hurt and Mommy won't let me back again. You see I took it upon myself after my first time at the dog park to be the official greeter. I'd run up to the double gate and say "Hi! Welcome to the Dog Park my name's Sonny let's be friends." This scarred Mommy at first but she soon relaxed and stop embarrassing me by asking my new friends parents their entire dog life story. She still followed me to the gate double gate, I'm still not quite sure why-but then again like Mommy says it's a good thing I'm pretty because I'm not always smart. So back to the other day I saw this German Shepard walking up to the back gate so I left my friends Bruno and Chuck and went to welcome my new friend to the park, my Mommy trailing right behind me. I got as far as "to" when I found myself pinned against the gate and with this new dog’s teeth on me. I scream for my Mommy and my Mommy screamed at the other dogs Daddy to get him off me but he didn't want to. Turns out the guys a sizest. Anyway the guy finally gets his dog off me right before Mommy kicks him in the face and I ran to one of Bruno's Daddies. Mommy checked me out in a frantic state but eventually gave me the all clear to play with my favorite dog of all. She's the dog of a local Priest and we like to embarrass our parents by doing naughty things. Mommy says I can't go back anymore but promises that she'll try to set me up on a play date once her heart rate returns to normal. A week’s gone by and she's still babying me, but I love her and have defiantly needed some extra cuddles.
