Not being able to walk very far.
Not much in to toys, but I like to catch the ball even if I can't chase it.
Cookies and carrots.
Anywhere I can get to these days is good.
Get the kitty.
We adopted her from an add. in the paper from someone who couldn't keep her. The woman cried when we took her. She had puppies before we got her and loves to mother other dogs and kids. She was the gentlest dog with people and most dogs, as long as they know she's boss. She would lick everyone! She used to roll on her back and growl, then bark at me until I give her a belly rub. She was terrified of fireworks and other loud bangs and we have to drug her every fourth of July to keep her from hurting herself. Everyone loved her because she was so sweet and gentle with people. I think of her every time I chop carrots since she would come running to get a piece whenever I started cutting on the cutting board.
3/29/06 - after a long illness, we took her to the vet and put her down. She went peacefully and we are greatful for the 8 years we were able to spend with her. We miss her terribly, and planted a white rose in our garden to remember her by, sweet old Tu.

You took me from someone who couldn't keep me and gave me a home for the rest of my life.
You played with me often and brushed me every week and fed me every day, good food and treats.
You worked with me on my dog aggression, and praised me for my gentleness with people.
You came home from work every day right away so you could take care of us first.
You gave me bones, and toys and balls and collars with my name on the tags, and yearly shots and vet visits to keep me healthy.
You helped me be calm and safe during the Fourth of July and thunderstorms.
You understood that I was the way I was and did not punish me for my fear.
You took me to the beach and the park and places I had never been before.
You gave me a soft bed every night and kept me inside with you.
You gave me medicine when I was sick, special food and special treats when I got sicker, and made sure I knew I was loved everyday.
You let me go in peace when I was too sick to eat or walk, no matter how hard it was on you.
You miss me every day and help other dogs have a good home now that I am gone.
