Walking with Wicket

Happy Labor Day!

This is my first blog entry but I'm very familiar with computers as you can see from one of my photos at only 4 months old...

I guess I should tell you a bit more about myself... I'm almost 8 months old, single, male Havanese. I enjoy walks on the beach, hiding food around the house, playing with squeaky toys and napping.

How did I end up here? My mommy decided to go to a pet store one day "just to see" and it was love at first sight. I gave her a soulful look through the bars of the crate that said "please take me home - it smells like poop in here" and was it... I came home at 3 months at 2.5 pounds and with a nasty case of kennel cough. It took me a while to get over it and mom slept on the sofa for a month so she could keep an eye on me... I've since gotten better and love sleeping on the human bed every night!

I spent most of labor day relaxing on the sofa, watching Dog Whisperer reruns and napping. One day my mom decided to take me along outlet shopping... I LOVE OUTLETS! It's all the new people I meet! I like sitting outside on the benches people-watching and having strangers stop to pet me and tell me how cute I am. I know I'm cute... but it is really a great ego boost to hear it every 2.5 minutes!

Anyway, I plan to update often with new adventures. If you like what you read, be my pal!
