I have not posted in quite some time. Bella is now a little over a year old. Where did the time go? She is still a joy to all of us. I believe she is about 5.5 lbs now full grown. She still loves to play and run fast circles around all of us! She is really funny! She also likes to try to play with my daughter's pet rats. She likes to lick them, though I have not figured out if she wants to eat them or just play with them. She has finally mastered the sit command, the down command, and can shake! This is amazing for her :) She also likes to go on 2 mile walks. Well, I guess that is all the update for now!

15 wks old

Bella is now 15 wks old and a whole 2lbs 8oz = 2.5lbs! I can't believe we have had her for 3.5 wks now!! She is such a wonderful puppy. I can't imagine life without her. Her personality has really been coming out the last few weeks. She loves to play. Her favorite game is playing fetch! So cute!

I am always amazed with how she behaves with my almost 6yr old. She is so patient and loving with her. As most may know, this age can be a bit overbearing at times but she does great. Bella also loves to sit in my lap while I'm at the computer. She definately does not like to be left alone.

Bella also has been going everywhere with us! She has met so many people. Her new friends are Katy and Vicky at the ice rink! Bella loves them because they play with her everytime she is at the rink during Madison's skating lessons. She loves all the skaters as well. Bella has been nominated as the Skating Club of Oregon's mascot. :)

Bella's puppy class is going well. She can now sit on command most of the time. She is learning down, which is not going well. She has learned her name and will come when called. Loose leash walking is the topic for next week which will be interesting. Bella likes to be carried, not walked on a leash, lol.

Bella loves to play with other puppies, so if you know of any playgroups in the Portland,OR area please send us an email. We would love to get involved in some.

Bella's Update

We have been so busy with little Bella. She will be 13wks old tomorrow! We have had her a little over a week now. She goes almost everywhere with us. Bella loves to ride in the car in her carseat. She also loves to go in her bag wherever we go!

Bella is also very smart. She figured out how to climb over her baby gate the first day I left her alone. When I came home, I was very suprised to see her at the top of the stairs. She now has figured out how to run up and down the stairs too.

Bella had her first vet appointment this past Friday. She is a 2lbs 5oz now! She is very healthy! She goes back in 2wks for some mores shots. Bella also started her puppy class yesterday. She was so cute! The puppies were supposed to be learning how to sit. That was funny. Bella kept hopping on her back legs. She was cute though :)

Lastly, Bella is such a joy!! She loves to play! She is so funny to watch and is such a cuddler. We are so glad that we have her :)

Bella is here!

Bella is finally here!! We picked her up at the airport at 11am! She came all the way from North Dakota. She is so so sweet and we all love her. What a joy she is!! I uploaded some new pictures from today! She is 11 wks and such a cutie!

Bella is coming tomorrow!!!

I am just so excited. Today, while I was gone studying for a huge test, my mom called and left me a message on my cell. The breeder had called her and let her know that Bella will be here tomorrow (Thursday) at 11am!! How exciting is that. What a pleasant suprise after my stress of studying for this test. I still can't believe tomorrow is the day. We are first time puppy owners so this is a huge deal! I will post pictures tomorrow afternoon!! Wish us luck!

Mischievous Bella

I got an email from Judie, Bella's breeder, yesterday telling me about the mischief Bella has been up to. :) She sent me some pictures of the huge mess that Bella and her sister made in the bathroom. They had pulled the towels off the rack and got the toilet paper off the roll. They shredded the paper and scattered it everywhere. So funny! The mess these little pint sized puppies can make!! The joys I have to look forward to!! I can't wait!

9 weeks old today :)

Bella is 9 wks old today! She is still with Judie, the breeder, in North Dakota. She has grown a lot. She is now 2.5 lbs!! She sounds like she is full of personality. She was caught digging in the flower pot like a little gopher the other day and she has learned how to untie shoelaces. We can't wait until she will be ready to come home. New Pictures!!

Bella is 5 wks and 1 day old now! I got new pics today. I had asked Judie if she had time to snap a pic w/out giving her a bath or anything and she sent me these! I was so excited when these came. Bella is just precious even without a bath :)

Growing :)

Little Bella is almost 5 wks old now. Judie (the breeder) emailed and let me know that Bella and her sister's personalities are starting to show. She said that they are pretty funny now... playing "bite nose" with each other and growling. I bet they are so cute! I wish we lived closer so we could go visit! They sound so adorable. We should have new pictures any day! Can't wait to see how they have grown.

4wks old today

Bella and her sister are 4wks old today. I don't have any new pictures yet. The breeder has been really busy. I hope to get some soon. It is killing me to wait for new pictures. I bet they have grown a lot since their 2wk pictures and have changed a ton! Bella's sister is now on hold as well. There are several other litters of maltipoos, cockapoos, ect available.
