Arrival Story: Reece came to us through Schnauzer Love Rescue. He was rescued in Tennessee after his first family gave him up at 6 months because he growled at them.
He was rescued by a sweet lady "Aunt Laura" who took care of him until we found him and drove to Nashville TN to adopt him.
Reece came to live with us in NC in July 2009.
He is a real sweetheart and we are working to socialize him now.
He barks at strangers and is very shy, especially with Men.
Bio: I'm a little shy, but I'm VERY smart and sweet.
I had a great weekend of agility and now I have another title...C-ATCH 2!
I love having all the attention but you can keep those sticks(Jump Bar for his Title)
See the new picture with the Judge, he's our friend Jay Jones and he and his wife(Jennie) handle all the Wiggle-Butts Trials! I still didn't want to have my picture taken with that stick! BOL! Mom said sorry that is part of the deal peanut butter pup.
It has been a great agility year for mom and I with 2 C-ATCH titles in one year!
Oh boy pups I had a super fun weekend so I just had to bark about it.
Mom and I went to the NADAC(North American Dog Agility Council) Toys for Tots Trial in Oxford, NC. It was a blast and guess who I saw there...Santa Claus!
All the grown ups were acting super silly all dressed up in Christmas gear, reindeer ears, Santa hats, Elf hats, and even singing hats! They had an ugly Christmas sweater contest, a couple different dance contests, lots of trivia questions and really neat raffle baskets and prizes.
They raised over $17,000 for Toys for Tots and a whole sleigh full of new toys and gifts. The Marines came and presented the colors for our opening on Saturday morning and we sang the National Athem, even the dogs joined in! BOL! You could have your picture taken with a Marine or Santa Claus!
Not me, I am too scared to do that.*blushes*
We started out in the 70's on Friday and ended up in the low 30's with rain on Sunday. Mom and I were a muddy mess by the time we left. We ran inside an enclosed horse area with no heat...brrrr!
I did very good in all my runs mom said we qualified 11 out of 13 runs. We only missed one run by 5 hundreds of a second!! I even got a couple of titles in Open, weavers and tunnelers.
Mom and I won the weave pole dancing contest too and got a pretty star ornament.
All in all it was a great weekend spent with great agility people for a wonderful cause.
Pups I have had a harrowing experience this morning and I just have to bark about it!
I was with my Pawrents visiting my Human Brothers House in Columbia, SC and they have these creatures called Cats! Evidently they were so worried about me visiting and harming one of these Cat things, but mom reassured them that I was a well behaved boy and would not even pay attention to those silly things.
Well the first encounter I didn't even pay any attention to the 2 cat things but one of them made this hissing sound when I went by, but I was a good boy and went out in the yard and did my business. I went by again and the hiss noise happened again and I just walked on by and didn't pay any attention to that thing.
This morning mom was trying to walk me by the creatures again and I was not even making eye contact and I was brutally attacked! This Noodle Cat Creature has 6 inch claws and swatted me on the but when I walked by.
Mom grabbed me up real quick or I would have really laid into that thing.
Good thing she intervened or boy oh boy it would have been ugly!
(mom here, Reece screemed like a baby when the cat, named Noodle swatted him on the but and proceeded to roll over on his back and shake!)
