Favorite Toy: Large tennis ball w/handle on it

Arrival Story: I was actually looking for a cat on Petfinder and somehow Mojo got in my search. He was owned by a college student whose parents just couldn't give him the kind of attention he needed. I did research on the breed and thought maybe I shouldn't get him, but when I saw on his profile they were going to take him to a shelter if they couldn't find him a home, I knew I had to try. When I went to pick him up, it was like he's known me forever. Jumped right in the back of the car and never looked back. We have been best buds for almost 11 years now.

Well, here we are coming up to July 4th. This holiday is really stressful to me. You see, before I came to live with Mom, I was kept outside on a tie out all day. At this time of year, kids would throw firecrackers at me. I know, mean, huh! Well, now when I hear that sound I really get panicked. If I'm inside and Mom is at work, I try to get out. Once, I dug a hole in the floor by the back door to get out. But Mom doesn't get mad at me, she understands. So she got me some medicine that helps me get through the day when she's at work and there are kids lighting fireworks outside. At night when she's home, we play tug of war and dance to music. It makes me forget the noise outside and I'm not afraid.

Oh, boy, tonight Santa comes! I can hardly wait. Wonder what I will get this year? My stocking is up and I hope it's gets filled with good things. I have been a very good dog this year. Didn't do any counter surfing or get into the trash. Accidents in the house were very minimal - only when Mom was late coming home and I couldn't hold it any longer.
I didn't mean to hurt the bunny at the lake this summer, but it made such great squeaky noises when I picked it up I couldn't help but shake it a couple of times. Mom scolded me and I didn't do it again this year. I helped Mom rescue a couple of orphaned kittens. She wouldn't let me play with them, but I showed her where they were. Now they live with my human sister, Sarah, so they have a good home.
