I Love Summer!!!

don't know what you got till it's gone

Sophie went to her first dog modeling weekend last week. I got to hang with Grandpa Mark! We had so much fun! I got way to many cookies and lots of cuddles...I couldn't push him out of bed like I did when Grandma Eleanor looked after us before (Grandpa's a big dude)! I almost forgot all about Sofa...until she came home!!! She smelt so good, like Grandama Cindy and my litter-sister Isa and Auntie Tanny's house! Wow I couldn't leave her alone. She was so sleepy that she didn't want to play AT ALL, and I would lie beside her and whine and cry! She just kept sleeping! I was going out of my mind! Well a couple of days pasted and she kept trying to lie ON ME, ON MY COUCH and I finally had enough of her! So back to normal, but Mom and Dad think I have to go with her in the future to keep the peace. I would love to go. Since I got my Super Model status, I haven't been going to shows. I really miss seeing all of my friends and acting so prancy. Of well, I hear I am going to be in a show at the Nationals, after I am "Altered" in the "Altered" class....What does altered mean? Do I get to wear a fancy costume or possibly make up??

Sophie is huge!!! Mom said 32kgs...she is only 17 weeks!!! She is going to be a real masher!! I can't wait until Jack our Airdale cousin sees her!! No more humping her little man!!! Keep it in your pants..or else!!
I have been so busy, playing and dog modeling. I got to go to do some modeling in Calgary and stay with Kaya, Ben and Havoc (3 danes, Ben is Sophie's littermate), their human parents Dean and Tani, Grandma Cindy, her daughter Becky, Belle (dane), and Isa (my littermate, dane), Sophie, Mom and Dad...count that up....
7 great danes and 6 humans in an average sized home. It was a little nutty to say the least!!! I had lots of fun! I love Isa so much. Dad wanted to take her home. Mom tried to talk Grandma into it..no dice...yet!! I think if we can have that many dogs and humans in one little house for a weekend, we can have a third dane here!!!
I hope to retire from modeling in the next few months. I few more ribbons to go!! Then it's Sophie's turn!! She is not to keen on the lead yet. She will learn to love it when she goes to her first gig. Some many other dogs, Grandma Cindy, Becky to play with. It's awesome fun!!

Long drive, seven barking babies and one big mad doggie-Dad

I went on a big car ride on Wednesday. I got woke up real early and Mom and I drove to Grandma Cindy's house. I was so excited to be there!! There where 7 little grey baby puppies in a crate in the back of Grandma's big suv. I was really excited and Mom said Sophie my new sister is one of those babies!! Then my doggie-Dad came out to say hi...he didn't like me. This was bad news for both of us 'cause we where going to be traveling together. I had to go into a crate, and Buddy (my doggie-Dad) had to be all by himself in the corner. Should'nt be so mean daddy dearest!!! Then we drove for a long time to our favorite vet Dr. Bev. She is really nice and knows Grandma really well.
Anyways I got a prick in my bum, and then I got all sleepy and had a little nap. When I woke up Mom was there and my paw felt really weird and was really sore . Mom made me lie down and relax, she sat on my bed and took good care of me. Then the puppied started coming.... One at a time they got a needle, a tattoo, nails cut and a microchip put in. I started to have flash backs and got kinda scared. After each baby was done they would come and hang with Mom and I until they felt good enough to walk around and be with their brothers and sisters again. My new sister Sophie was really brave! She barely cried, and came out really fast, then she climbed on me, sniffed me and licked my face...she knew I was feeling really bad. I think she will be good sister for me. She is very tough and likes me. She smells like clean baby puppies!! I love her already!!
Now I am trying to get better. I have to wear a cage thing on my mouth when I am alone so I don't start chewing on my paw again. Thank god Mom and Dad are trying to be with me as often as they can while I heal 'cause I hate that thing ALMOST as much as that evil cone that fits over my head. I really really hate that thing!!!
I will get the stiches out on the same day we pick up Sophie!! I won't be able to really play yet, but she will be to small anyways. I hope she likes Bruno..
