Quick Bio:

Likes:
Running! Running in circles, getting chased by other dogs, running after squirrels (if Mom would let me).

Pet-Peeves:
Things that ring, thunder, fireworks. Also, when Mom keeps pressing snooze when she should be getting up and taking me for a walk!

Favorite Toy:
A stuffed bird that chirps. Well, it used to chirp.

Favorite Food:
Grain-free. And avocados. And eggs. And bones. And kleenex...

Favorite Walk:
To the beach, in the dunes, to the dog park, downtown, to Cycle & Fitness and Fuzzybutz Pet Bakery (they let me inside!). And anywhere there are squirrels!

Best Tricks:
Climbing our 6-foot fence. Now it's an 8-foot fence. :(

Arrival Story:
I was found on Dogster! My awesome foster mom made me a profile (it's still here! My name used to be Oreo: http://www.dogster.com/dogs/963506 ) and mom found it looking for greyhounds. (Although Mom thinks I might be part great dane. Or maybe miniature dane. And lots of people say I'm a pibble...and I'd be proud to be!) Mom filled out an application and then drove all the way to Illinois to pick me up. We hung out at the adoption site for a while, and I dragged her around while she tried to walk me, then we drove home to Michigan that day.

Bio:
I love my mom most, but I also love all my puppies. If you're smaller or younger than I am, you're probably my puppy, and we're going to have fun. I'll indulge you in all your adorable puppy ways...especially if you want to chase your mommy around the dog park, but I'll also let you chew on me and get me to roll over. And if you start fighting or barking, I'll run over and get you to calm down, or else I'll tell MY mom on you. If you're a bigger and older dog, I'll still let you chase me, but you better play right or I'm out! Oh, I also have a "cat." He is a cross between a puppy and a squirrel, and I'm not sure whether to snuggle with him and chew on his ears or pick him up and throw him around. So I chase him when I'm in a crazy mood and let him sleep near me when I feel like it.

Forums Motto:
Mom's sweet little garnish

My Dual Personalities:
You might think those photos on the left are of more than one dog. Sometimes I AM more than one dog. For instance, I am very calm...except for the times when I am jump-off-the-walls crazy. I also have those mournful, soulful greyhound eyes...except for when I have a giant pibble ear-to-ear grin.

So, today was ruff. I was at the vet all day to have surgery.

Monday night, I was playing tug of war with Dakota, the neighbor German Shepherd Dog. She gave one final yank on that ivy vine and ouch! My tooth came all apart! One of the little front teeth on top. There was one piece that broke off, and we found out today when the vet took it out that the rest had a horizontal fracture, plus a vertical fracture that went all the way past the gum line. No wonder I didn't want to show anyone--I barely let Mom or the vet see it.

I was so happy to see Mom tonight! And happy to get home! I just wanted to run and eat and jump! Who knows why Mom kept wanting to stop me...though I did keep feeling like there was this sleepy dog living inside me who kept trying to be my boss...but I said, "No way!!" Until I finally got Mom to walk me, then sleepy dog took over and made me lay down and moan and groan until I finally went to sleep.

That was a good game with Dakota, though; totally worth it. She's my BFF.
