Leave a bone for Chibi

Nicknames: Dad called me Cheebster, "Chibi the Dog", Partner and Bud. The nice neighbors here sometimes called me "The Welcome Waggin'". I don't know what that meant, but since they usually smiled when they said it I guess it meant Good Boy.

 Quick Bio:
Likes: I liked meeting new dogs, long walks anywhere, the beach, barking at potential threats (or nothing in particular), any place near Dad, anything Dad was eating, greeting the neighbors, and human women of any age

Pet-Peeves: I was not especially fond of mean people, squirrels, rabbits, or overly aggressive mean dogs.

Favorite Toy: I loved anything that squeaked, tug o' war ropes and I could fetch tennis balls or frisbees for hours. I used to play with my tail but I grew out of that...

Favorite Food: I ate anything Dad gave me, and it always tasted good but I liked scrambled up eggs on Sunday morning best! Dad fed me organic food which is very tasty and kept me in good shape.

Favorite Walk: I liked to walk around the neighborhood w/Dad when was nice out, but I didn't like the rain. My favorite place was this place called Ocean City; Dad took me on the beach and I ran along the water barking at waves and chasing big ocean birds! It was COOL!

Best Tricks: I did lots of tricks, like catching treats and knowing my right from my left. For some reason this impressed the humans. I can walk without a leash and I know the meaning of lots of human words, but my best trick was knowing when the rice was ready!

Arrival Story: (Chibi passed on August 22, 2008 at 12:30 AM. His spirit touched so many people and we all feel a deep loss.)
I chose my Dad from the people in the pet store; he didn't want a dog but the lady convinced him to spend a couple of minutes playing with me and I won him over. He took real good care of me and even when he had a really hard day of work, he always spent his first minutes home playing with me, and he always gave me the last bite of anything he was eating. (Except stuff that was bad for puppies, of course.) I asked around and he was a pretty cool Dad, as far as humans go. I loved him more than tails can say.

Bio: I travelled to Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. I left my mark in every state, too! I've been camping and hiking and met lots of nice humans all over. My name may have been Japanese slang for "shorty", but I made up for my height with my big heart!

Forums Motto: If it moves...chase it, if not bark!

I'm so excited I can hardly stop wagging; Christmas is tomorrow and that means I get to drive with Dad to see my Grandma and Grandpaw and my Aunt and Uncle. Dad says that Santa going to leave some presents for me at their house. I also had Dad pick out some presents for my adopted cat cousins - Grandma/Grandpaw has two and my Aunt/Uncle have two. I won't be going to my Aunt's house because her cats don't like pups, but I'll spend some time over my Grandparents' house until dinner is over, then we get to open presents!
I hope I get some squeaky toys...a LOTS of treats and hugs!
Happy Howlidays and a Yappy New Year to all!

(Bow) Wow! I've only been at Dogster for a couple of hours and I'm already making friends here! This place is grrrr-eat, I plan to tell all the neighbor dogs about it.
Dad's making dinner (smell just reached upstairs) so I gotta go so I don't miss anything that might drop on the floor (or be tossed my way intentionally) but I'll try to get back to you all soon.
Thanks to the nice humans at Dogster.com for giving me my own website!
