Hello, world! This is Bishop - I'm a three year old
brindle male with natural ears and a docked tail. I was in a shelter
that was not enclosed and it was 100 degrees last week when this
angel
came and helped me escape that place. I am so skinny (I only weigh 46
pounds) and weak that I collapsed from the heat and I honestly
thought
that I had died and went to heaven because I was taken to the doctor
to get checked out and get all my shots. I didn't have any
intestinal
worms or heartworms; I'm just really malnourished and need to be
neutered. The doctor said that I was too skinny to have my surgery
and
I needed to gain some weight first. This week, my foster mom came and
took me to this place that was like a spa. I got a four-handed luxury
bath and massage, got my ears cleaned out, my paws cleaned,
conditioner on my coat, ticks removed and a good meal. This just
keeps getting better - later I got to meet 4 fur brothers and sisters
and I love them all. After my bath and dinner, I felt so much better
that I wanted to play with my brothers and sisters, lots of toys and
mom's toes - hahaha. She tells me how handsome I am and calls me
"frisky britches" (whatever that means). I'm a good boy too - I have
not had any accidents in the house and can't believe that I have air
condition and my choice of about 8 different beds to lie on. If you
are looking for a handsome man to complete your life, you need to get
busy and fill out that application because I'll be gone before you
can
blink an eye. Well, I had better run......mom doesn't know I'm using
the computer and I need to go back in there and get some treats!
