He's very stubborn, I'm sure he could do more if he felt like it. Arrival Story: I was looking for a husky and I really wanted to do the right thing, so I visited all the shelters and rescues. But none of the huskies were compatible with cats and I have two. I learned (with the help of the forums here!) that huskies can indeed get along with cats especially when they grow up with them. So I decided to start researching breeders. Even though Tekoa isn't a rescue dog, he came from a very good breeder, so in that sense (maybe I'm trying to assuage my guilt!) Last month I turned 3 yrs old!
Has it really been 3 years since Mommy was carrying me around in a Sherpa at her college????
haaaaaaaa! Those were fun days. Mom never stops reminding me how obnoxious a puppy I was! HAHA! She tells me that after raising me to a year, she vowed not to get another puppy.
. . . . But then she got my little brother Aero (who she says was a model puppy. . . except for his brattiness of course -- I think mommy just likes to sleep during the night. . . what a weird human).
So I guess I didn't COMPLETELY ruin mommy's puppy spirit.
My birthday's coming in 3 days! I'll be 2 years old!
I've survived another summer, and then the countdown til snow begins!! whoooohooooooo!!

Mom says she's not happy about winter coming at all.
But guess what everyone?!
That dog park the slow humans kept promising to build has finally opened! It's only a few blocks away, which means mom will have NO excuse for not taking me to the doggy park when the cold comes. hehe.
I will give her a little credit. She's finally making use of the roller wheel shoes she's always had; I love running!! Mom wishes I would pull her more, but I say, "what do you expect?!" I haven't run in a while - a dog's got to get in shape first!
Oh!!! Mom says we're goin to go check out that park now!
Finally, mom decided to take me to the beach. AH! Blessed cold water! I pulled mum all the way over there from the car. She was getting pretty irritated with me, which was my goal, cuz as soon as we entered the beach area, she let me go right away because she couldn't wait to be rid of me.
I ran like the wind! Straight into the water. And stole the first tennis ball from some dog right away.
I chomped it until it died.
It took in too much water in its side wound and drowned. Even my resuscitation efforts weren't enough to make it float again. Eventually, I forgot where it was cuz I accidentally buried it alive under the sand. Ah well!! I ended up just stealing another one from some unsuspecting victim!
The best part of my visit was when I dunked my little brother Aero's head beneath the waves. I did it a few more times just for kicks, and mom yelled at me. (Hey, he was having fun, Mom! . . .weren't you little buddy?? *glares at behind mom's back*)
The worst part about my visit was when mum caught me; she took me into the deep end just cuz she wanted to see me swim. Humans!
Oh I swam all right! And tried to make sure mum never caught me again.
Needless to say, she did catch me when it was time to go home.
Hopefully, mum will see my heat stroke, and take me back to the blessed water soon. Let's see if this works,
"MOM!! I'm hot again now!!!"
