My Videos [See My Video Book]

My neighbor, who knew and loved Choma as much as we did and without us knowing, put up a memorial for Choma in the area where he passed. When we saw it, so many emotions came crashing back! We go there to reflect while it blows gently in the breeze.

Arrival Story:
I actually went to the humane society because I saw a husky posted on their website and I was searching for one. Only when we got to the shelter, the husky was already called for. :( (But I'm happy he found a home!) My sister and I took a walk around to look at the other dogs since we were there anyway. Rui was so cute, we took him out for about 15 minutes and fell in love with him. Unfortunately, the shelter was closing and they also have a policy that all family members and pets have to be there to be considered for adoption. It took us 3 whole days to convince my mom that he was just right, and to get everyone there. Those 3 days were the most nerve-wrecking 3 days I've ever spent! XD I count my blessings that he was still there when we went back. We adopted him that day.

Bio:
Rui is such a nice dog, I'm not sure why he was given up to the shelter; he has no behavioral problems at all that I've found. He was 1 yr and 6 months when we got him, so I gues that makes him going on 3 now!

haaaaaa. . . finally my winter pounds are all in place.

Don't worry! I'll share the winter recipe with you!

First: Sleep. A lot.
Second step: Act REEEAAALLY cold when ma takes you outside. that way she feels sorry if she forces you out for a walk.
Third: Eat. . . ah yess, the key factor, but third nonetheless. You cannot skip your meals, otherwise the pounds will slip.
Finally: Make sure the vet tells your ma that, "Sure! He's a healthy weight!" at your appointment. That way your ma won't mind you repeating steps 1-3 for the rest of the wintertime.

If you follow these steps closely, I guarantee that you will be the most incubated, and cuddliest pup on these mean winter streets.

As you can see, ma decided not to buy me a coat. But truly, at this rate, I won't need one. haha!

I have a little sister now!

Remember I wasn't too sure what it would be like to have a little sister??
Well, now I have one! Her name is Anya, and she is a very sweet cuddly pup!
She likes to play alot at night, and just like me, she sleeps a lot during the day! She's a bit shy tho. . . when ma asks her to come, Anya runs the other direction. I think it's kinda funny, but ma frowns at it.

Choma was mostly my husky-brudder's buddy, it seems like Anya will be my furiend -Tekoa is a little too rough for her. She ends up spinning her sweet little self around and telling him to back off! BOL!

I"m looking forward to being able to play outside with her. For now, it's soooo muddy and yucky.

Summer, where are you??

So Cold!!

Those who know me well, know I hate hate hate the cold!

I've been doing pretty good without a coat, but not so good without my booties. I can't pretend that my paws don't hurt, but I sure don't like my booties. Everytime, ma goes to get them I run away!

Aaargh! There are too many corners in this house!!

But when we're outside, my pawzies are sooo warm, so I forgive you mom!!
So far, we've just been going on our walks. There aren't any closed-in places to run around here (the dog park is about 2 and a half miles away), and mom's way too nervous after what happened with Choma to let us run off-leash in our field, so I haven't been able to zoom around and feel the wind in my ears like I used to. Another reason to hate winter I suppose.

Maybe ma will find someone with a car who can drive us to the park . . .?

But it's okay. I much prefer to sleep sleep sleep in ma's bed anyway.

I guess that's why I always put weight on in the winter time! BOL!
I sure do hate the cold!
