That describes me yesterday. I got to go on a walk along the ditch bank where all kinds of men and machines had been working. It is much quieter there now so we went for a walk.
The poem describes me so well, that is why I had to be put on a leash on the way back. Mom didn't want me running into the road on the way home.
It was a good walk!

Hmm- this might explain why I'm only off-leash in contained areas- home, the vet's office, the dog park...

I gots da selective hearing, but I never gets to go off leash. Well, in the backyard, but not anywhere else. But I can ignore momma pretty good!

We both have selective hearing, athough I've practiced it longer. We are never off leash either, except in our fenced in yard or the house.

You poor city dogs. Come and visit me, I can take you on the good roads, no vehicles, just good smells!
You pups know, we have a fenced yard that we never get out of. Mom only let me go off leash because it was a slow traffic day, she checked for vehicles before we left the yard. But that is why I went on leash on the way back. I did like to go exploring way ahead of Mom. :-0

Tux, I's 'lowed off leash lotsa times (at a park, at da picnic, efun on our walks) but we lives ina city so mama teached me nefur goes ina stweet wifout a leash. MOS'LY I doesn' has dat slectiff hearin, but I's young.

HEY Zaidie, me too--sumtimes mama put da leash on me ina house cuz I's actin too crazy an needs to "settle".
