Urka-gurka in Mom's ear

Don't take that title literally. Does your Mom have bionic ears like mine?
It was dark o'clock and I had some urka-gurka happening. In the living room. On the new carpet.
Mom came flying, well, ok, so she walked fast, out of her bedroom. I mean, we do have a small house but wasn't she asleep back there? Maybe Moms don't really sleep. They must lay there waiting and listening. Mom admits she has a sound fetish. She has the need to identify all sounds in the house.
She knew the urka-gurka sound right away. She came out and walked very carefully, staring at the floor. She eased her way to the door. I urka-ed again. She had me go outside.
I felt better after being outside for a few minutes. Mom must have cleaned up the spots while I was outside. I went back to bed. Even though it was early, Mom stayed up. Probably to keep an eye on me. Maybe a bionic eye.

Yep... it's a mom's natural instinct to detect urka gurkas... :o)

I think it's because some Moms have human kids- they get super powers of hearing, smelling, lie detection... Although my Mom just has furry kids and she can do some of those things. No fair, Mom!

it's true, Mommas can hear us even thinkin' bout urka-gurkaing! And my momma don't have human children, she says we are plenty 'nuff, thankyouberymuch. What do you think she means by that?!

love Rudy
p.s. hope you are feeling ok now.

Yes it's true, Pal. It doesn't even take an urka gurka to wake my mom. This is especially helpful in the middle of the night when I need to go investigate something in the yard. I just jump down off the bed and stare at her. If that doesn't work, I move in close and breathe in her face. I think moms are telepathically tuned into us pups.
or they have that bionic eye/ear thing....

Awh, your Momma is very caring and thoughtful to keep her bionic eye on you as you went slept.

Like Ella saidz, Mommas have a 'natural instinct' to detect those type of things. Mommas and pups are keen to one another. =D

Our mom has the same bionic hearing when it comes to those icky sounds. I'd think she'd be deaf with all our barking, BOL.

We hope you're feeling better now Tux.
