Some people saw that we had ACD's and asked if we could take another, rescue dog. We didn't think so at the time, we already had two blue dogs. However, we obviously changed our mind cos we now live with this most amazing little love bug in the world. She can drive us crazy, but we wouldn't be without her. I blame her for most of my gray hair and a lot of laugh lines too!

KayCee is a small, soft furred, bright eyed bundle of energy who loves to chase our horses, bug our cat by pushing him with her nose on his bottom, make our rooster go into testosterone overload visiting his ladies, and jumping all our fences then waiting on the other side to be let back in through the gate. She is" awesome "as my young adult sons tell me.

The sun is shining and mom is busy. That means that I'm busy too!. We are going to weed the garden. This means that mom pulls stuff out of the ground and throws it into a pile. This means that I get to jump, intercept it, and run off with it. I love this game!!
I"m also going to be a watch pup today, just like my brother Ashe. We've had a pesky fox stealing our chickens and mom wants us to be on guard in case this no good critter comes back for more. This is my kinda day!

Today wasn't one of my better ones. We had people come over the house which makes me so excited! I ran around happy to see everyone, but when I get too excited bad things seem to happen. I accidentally pushed the cat into a corner and he got mad at me! Ouch!
I tried to catch our grandson by holding his foot in my mouth. Great game this, but my mom told me no and gave me the evil eye.
Every one was laughing and talking loudly, so I started talking too. Nobody was listening. I got louder and louder, and the other dogs started talking and my mom grabbed my collar and put me in another room!
Oh woe is me. I cried and cried but no love for me. No yummies either!
The final bad thing was Ashe was angry with me too because I made him stressed.
I don't understand how so much happy can turn to so much sad.
Its gonna be ok though cos mom just smiled at me, and I know that she has a yummy somewhere,just for her red banana(thats me).

It is still raining and I am deeply depressed. It has rained for the entire month of June! When it rains I don't get to work outside as much, the horses stay in their barn and even the silly old roosters stay inside. In short I am getting fat and stir crazy! My mom and dad seem upset with it too, but not as much as me. My brother Ashe says he likes staying in!! He is lying next to dad and sleeping!! He hates the rain, he says it makes his old bones stiff. I volunteer to chew them for him but he just ignores me.
At last, mom is putting on her yummy rubber boots and smelly barn coat, yipee yeah lets go guys!
