Hi everyone! I've missed writting you but have been busy enjoying my summer. I had dog parties, pool parties, and cook out parties. What a great summer it was for me. My foster mom is great! She had me doing all of these fun things with her and her friends and family. Some of them had dogs too so I got to meet a lot of new friends. My new best friend, Buster, we have been going on dog walks just about every weekend. Even though my foster mom keeps me on my leash it was still fun making her run with me. I am still praying every day that I find my new permanent home. I can't wait to see if there will be kids for me to play with or other dogs. That would be fun. Oh, and treats when I am good - so that would be everyday that I would get some. :) So all you dog lovers out there please pick me. I will make your life complete! I know my foster mom's life is complete with me in right now. I have to get running now but will write back again soon. Until then, I will continue to pray for my new home.

Happy belated Father's Day to all of you out there! A special bark goes out to each and every one of you. So much has gone on since I last updated you. Busy dog I am these days. Okay, so the last time I wrote I told you that I was not crazy about other dogs. Don't tell my foster mom, but I have a girlfriend, my new BFF I call her. Yes,I do. Everytime I see a dog I get SO excited and my foster mom has to pull me back. I think she was scared at first because she was not sure if I wanted to be friends with them or not. I'm not a fighter but a lover & you will love me if you give me a chance. Who wouldn't? Back to the girlfriend, there is this yellow lab that lives downstairs from me who is my new BFF! I have proven to my foster mom that I love dogs, but this one is special. The first time that my mom (enough with the foster) actually let me do my own thing, I just gave a high five to my BFF! I just wanted to smell her and play with her. We have become best friends and take walks together. Of course chaperoned by the parents. The 2nd best thing that has happened to me is that I have learned what toys are. How awesome! I have been playing with a fake ice cream cone. My mom says how much she loves ice cream (mint chocolate chip that is) so I day dream as if this ice cream cone toy is a big piece of fresh bacon. Love it! I think my mom is getting sad lately because now that she has had me for a couple of months she just knows that some time soon she is going to have to let me go to my forever home, but I am not afraid. She said everyone should be fighting over me. Love her for that :) I give her lots of licks to try to let her know that I will stay in touch. She is proud of me. She knows that I deserve a 'family'....a real home....a home that will be mine! Okay, so I got side tracked for a moment. Anyway, for all you dog lovers out there, just for the record once again........PICK ME! I will not let you down! I hear from everyone how lovable I am. I want to share that with you and be the great dog that you have always wanted, doggie swear, doggie promise, girl scout honor???? I heard my mom say that once.

I went outside tonight with my mom to do another photo shoot since the last one didn't turn out that hot. My mom can't take the right pictures at the right time. I can only poss my glamour shot for a second or two but geeze she took forever. But I love her. I had to say that because she is watching me.

So my mom is telling me I have to get off of the computer now and spend some quality time with her. Awe....but I was just getting started. It is about that time though were we cuddle on the couch and watch these crazy programs on TV. I try to change the remote control to the animal channel but my fingers are too big. I have to learn more about technology.

Hi everyone! I wanted to wish all of you 'foster' mom's a wonderful day! Thank you to my foster mom for being the BEST! I think I will lick her more today to show her how much I care. To my future mom, I hope to meet you soon! Happy Mother's Day!

3-10-09 Hi everyone,

My apologize to you for not keeping in touch as much I would like to. I had my heart worm treatment and my foster mom wouldn't let me do much of anything. So....I've just been doing the same ole thing, day in and day out. Being the best dog ever!!! Doggie high fives :) My mom says that she is so lucky to be fostering me. She keeps on telling me that I am SO easy :) Tomorrow I am off to the dog place again (vet) to visit my new friends their. I have my 2nd round of this heart worm treatment stuff. My foster mom keeps on telling me that everything is going great! I am almost finished with it and these worm thing will be gone forever! It is weird though...I don't feel any different. I'm still the same happy dog :) I love my foster mom so much and she keeps telling me that one day I am going to make some family very happy. I have posed for some pictures but my mom is yelling at the camera (not uploading). I will try to help her. :) I just need to look at it with her and tell her that one simple thing she is forgetting to do. So.....be on the look out for some fabulous pictures of me! 1-14-09 Hi everyone! My name is Ember and I do have to apologize for not giving my update to you sooner. I've just been so busy since I came to my new foster home. So much excitement! I think I freaked out my foster mom when she saw that I was in heat :) She is new at this but I love her! She got me these real cool Dragon Tail pull ups. I would have gone with the princess, since I am one :) My foster home is the best! What a difference from the streets! But I think I amazed her pretty good when I've shown her that I am a great house dog! I have been helping her out a little bit since she doesn't know everything. (She does give good treats I might say) I go straight to the door when I have to go outside (you know....'go do the job'), I go straight into my crate when it is bedtime and sleep all the way through the night. My foster mom snores! But, I am so relaxed from my day that I have to say it is somewhat nice to know someone is right next me to. :) But my foster mom tells me I snore too so we just make music together. Okay, on to better things. I went to the vet doctor! Just for dogs! Everyone there was so nice to me. I got to meet some new friends while I was there. One of them was so tiny! I just licked her :) They thought I was just so cute that they gave me medicine (vaccinations) to make me feel better. They also said that I have heart worm and hook worm. I thought....would I want to eat worms?? But my foster mom said that the dog food was better. Good news is that I am going to be okay. The blood test came back and it has not affected my liver or kidney! I tried doing a cart wheel but it didn't work out so well. So I just went around in circles and gave kisses and kisses to my mom! Oh....and more kisses! I've taken my medicine only for 1 full day now and have more energy to play around. I'm really not into these toy things yet but they do look real cool. I might have to try them out :) I get to go back to the vet doctor Friday so I can get spayed. Yippy! I know that I will be taken care of when it is over so I'm not scared. Then after I heal from that my mom tells me that they are going to give me a treatment for this worm stuff....I still don't get this worm thing. Other than that I am terrific! My mom has it pretty easy :) We have a date tonight and we are watching American Idol? I am not so sure about this....my mom snores........can she sing? I'll be sure to keep you posted on that! :)
