Arrival Story: Riley came home on Thursday December 30th 2004. We picked him up at Newark Airport. We had called the airport to ask for directions and they told us "Oh you can turn around and go home - we will take him home.. he is a GREAT puppy!" We were so thrilled! I cried when I first held him. The ride home was long for Riley but he slept most of the way. When we stopped to let him pee within 15 seconds he went.. what a good boy! When we got home he did decide to pee on the carpet, but he's just a baby yet! He ended his night by falling fast asleep in his crate, just like an angel.
Bio: Riley was born on November 16th 2004 at 9:06pm. He weighed 14oz. His mommy's name is Browning, his daddy's name is Lemonade. He is an AKC registered English Springer Spaniel.

We have alot of snow here in NY! About a foot. It's been GREAT!!! Riley loves it. He hops around in it like a rabbit, each time he hops he shoves his face as far as he can into the snow, whipping it up and shaking the snow on his head all over. He loves to eat it even more. And climbing the big piles of snow, well those he considers mountains! It's a winter wonderland out there for a dog!
I'm also pleased to announce Riley is now a Canine Good Citizen. He has his ribbon and certificate on his wall :) It look alot of hard work but we finally did it! Yay!
Late Tuesday afternoon Riley was accidently ran over by our landlord. He got stuck under the wheel (wheel on his belly) and was dragged about a foot across the driveway.
And as miracles happen, Riley had NO internal injuries. He fractured a bone in his hip, which will heal on it's own, and has stitches all over his belly, legs, feet, and knees. He had surgery twice on his wounds to clean them up and close them up.
Other than that Riley is going to be JUST fine!! THANK GOD! Thanks to all those who prayed. Once again my boy has gone through a very tough time and will make it through ok. He is definatly watched over.
