Hi! PIPER here! I have this funny name because I had “pipes”
sticking out of my head when they rescued me from the shelter. I had
an abscess on my head, and they used the rubber pipes under my skin to
help it drain. That’s LONG in my past. By the time I turn one year
old, my mom says the memory marks will probably be gone, but I’ll
always know about the tough life I lived as a young puppy. I have now
been in a foster home for about two months with two boxer siblings and
two skin siblings. I am a GREAT family member. I’m so smart that I
learned to “sit” and “lie down” from my dog brother and sister. Mom
never even spent time on it with me. Duh… if I sit, I get my supper
or get to go out on my leash, and I love both! What’s so hard to
figure out there? I spend my “quiet time” in a crate when no people
are home and at night when I sleep. I am a playful guy and love to
wrestle and gang up on my fur sister with my fur brother. Sometimes,
my fur sister and brother gang up on me. As far as I’m concerned, as
long as I am playing, it doesn’t really matter who’s on top of the
pile. I am extra fond of dog toys and bones and love to have them all
around so I can switch between them whenever I want. I know that the
tall grass outside is the place to go potty, and I have almost
mastered it. Finally, mom said I should mention my amazingly
expressive eyes to you. She says she never realized how truly
BEAUTIFUL a pit puppy could be. She knew we had great personalities,
but apparently, I was blessed with EXTRA good looks too!! Check me
out! I’d love to join your family, especially if I could have a
forever fur buddy and skin buddy to play with!
P.S. I was trying to decide if I like getting a bath more or going to
a soccer game to be dragged around by all the little kids. I think
you ought to consider taking me to the game and THEN treating me to a
fun bath once we get home. They are both so FUN!
