Hi everyone, Turbo here. Boy have I had a great summer. My foster mom is off work in the summer so she has been here to to help me get settled. It took me about a week or two to get the routine but now I am a pro. I go for two walks Every day, rain or shine and we go for about a mile so I am in great shape. I love to start off jogging which mom says is wearing her out but she is a good sport and indulges me sometimes. Most of the time we just have a good brisk walk. I don't really care about toys but just enjoy my people and I like to be where they are. I get more exercise by following my people around in the house but it's my job to keep an eye on them. My skin sister, Keisha, moved to Boone to go to school which made mom sad so I'm glad I was here to make her feel better. I still get along great with my fur sisters and the two cats. There has not been a single cross bark or meow between us.
I am a really mellow, laid back guy and I know my perfect forever home is out there. I have been neutered now and I am in good health. I probably need to be in a home with a hearing dog because I am deaf but that just makes me more loveable. Mom says I'm a sweetheart and any family would be lucky to have me for their very own.

Hi, Turbo here. I thought it would be polite and introduce myself and tell you my story since I am new to BRBR. A very nice lady found me wondering in the woods near her house and took me in. I have no idea how long I was on my own, but it sure was great to find someone to take care of me. The nice lady found me a temporary home with some fur kids and an awesome skin kid but they could only keep me a short time. That's where BRBR came into the picture. They got busy and found me a foster home and I arrived yesterday. The first order of business was a bath; you know a guy likes look and smell fresh, and then a good meal. I didn't get very many good meals while I was on my own so I am a little skinny right now but I know I will pack on some weight in the coming months. I have a fur sister (Boxer), fur sister (a small 14 yr old dog), two skin kids, well not really kids (20 & 21) and two cats. I get along great with everybody, even the cats. (They don't like me much but I don't pay them any attention). I love going on walks (I will sit to get my leash put on) and running around in the fenced in yard. A fence is a must for me because I cannot hear. I had a bad case of ear mites when I was rescued (that's all cleared up now) so I don't know if my hearing loss is temporary or permanent. I will have a vet visit in the next week or two to get neutered and all my shots. I will keep you posted on the hearing thing. I am a sweet, loving boy and I hope you will consider making me a permanent part of your family.
