It’s Roman finally checking in; sorry it’s taken me so long – won’t
make excuses, will just apologize for keeping you on pins & needles
waiting to find out about me:-) My former owner was working all the
time & just couldn’t give me the attention he felt I deserved so the
great people at BRBR graciously agreed to take me into their fold &
boy has that made me happy. My Daddy told my new foster mom he kept me
crated while he worked double shifts but she thinks he might have been
pulling her leg since I managed to open the crate door the two times
she put me in there & then she boarded me at the kennel while she went
out of town & I fooled them & got the door to my run open there too;
see how smart I am:-) “Mom” has found out she doesn’t need to crate me
when she’s gone, though, I’m a perfect gentleman in the house except
we’re working on me leaving the trash can alone when it’s left out. I
get along just fine with all the cats that live here with us & have no
problems with other dogs; in fact, I’ve got a new foster brother that
just came in; his name is Barnabas. I’ve had my first heartworm
treatment & should have my second by next week at least. I’m about as
laid back & gentle as they come & walk great on a leash, sometimes
even, my Mommy has to prod me to “pick up the pace” a little. I can’t
really play right now but I’ve got a couple of stuffed animals that
came with me & you can get me to liven up with them & some of the
other toys here. There is one thing I really, really don’t like &
that’s thunder; the real loud kind; it looks like my new “brother”
feels the same way, we’re having a big storm right now & he’s not very
happy. Poor Mommy, she’s got both of us now & a couple of the cats
that are scaredy cats when it comes to thunder; how can she look after
all of us at the same time? Oh well, I’ve got faith in her :-) I like
to be with people too; I’ll follow you from room to room very
faithfully & if you’re wanting a terrific bed partner I’m your man.
I’m a great snuggler & will even lie on top of you if you’ll let me -
hehe. Well, I guess that’s about all I can think of to tell you right
now except that I forget to tell you how very, very handsome I am
although I do need to gain weight. Until next time, then, Roman
