Sully

Sully is 1-2 yr old neutered male. He has a natural tail and natural ears. Sully is wonderful with children, his foster home as 3 kids, ages 3,5 and 7. He is good with other dogs, he is a submissive guy who just wants to play!! He is a big boy so with children that are not dog savvy, he could accidentally knock them over when he is playing and that might scare some small children. He is great in the house and is crate and house trained, and he has very good manners. He is a little insecure when it comes to people but has been great with them when they come in the house, males and females, but he warms up to females a little faster. He is great walking on the leash, but he does have some issues with meeting people on leash, he will sometimes bark and growl a little at people when walking, if you pass someone or stop to talk with someone, this is just a leash issue, maybe he was tied up somewhere before. If you pull him back and make a big deal he does get worse and will act like he wants to get at them, but he has never done anything to hurt someone, he is definitely not by any means an aggressive dog, if you ignore him and continue walking he is fine, we are working on this and seeing some improvement, but his new family will have to continue to work on this issue. He is completely fine with strangers in the house, and with company coming over, it is just when he is on leash. Sully acts like a big baby in the house and loves to cuddle and just be with you, he is gentle with toys and food and loves to play hide and seek under little peices of furniture that he can't really fit under, it is the cutest thing!! He would make a great dog for someone, but will require some work so he can continue to get better on leash with people.
