I am writing to tell you about a very cool event that my family just signed us up for called the American Cancer Society Bark For Life. With every step we take and every wag of our tail at this dog walk event, we will be raising funds and awareness to help the American Cancer Society save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
I’m hoping you will support us. http://main.acsevents.org/goto/Frankie.Sinatra. Bark For Life is a dog walk event that gives dog owners (and the dogs that love them!) an opportunity to come together to raise funds to help the American Cancer Society save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Please support our efforts by visiting our personal web page to make a secure, tax-deductible online donation. Every donation really does make a difference. We know that times are tighter than normal for many of us, but any amount you can give truly can help fight against cancer. Each of us has our own reasons for caring about the fight against cancer. Whatever your reasons, we hope you’ll choose to make a difference with an online donation to support our efforts. We’re so grateful to have people like you in our lives who want to see an end to cancer in our lifetime. Together, we can save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Thank you and we will keep you updated on our progress Sincerely Frankie & Sinatra....

after work mama is going to take me to the dog run to celebrate with my other pals and tell them how wonderful our Dogster pals are!
I might even get a rawhide bone as a treat! Woof Woof, Lick Lick to all my pals!! Puppy hugs until our next chat.

Fussy Eater

I'm a very fussy eater. Sometimes I eat my food and sometimes I don't. Mama tries everything. She tries mixing in meat like Alpo, giving me just meat, adding milk like cereal. Sometimes I eat and sometimes I don't. It drives mama crazy! What the matter Sinatra baby? Are you not hungry or do you not like the food.
I'm not spoiled. I don't get table food, but mama doesn't know what to do with me. Last night I got a great treat. She mixed meatballs in with me food. YUM, YUM,YUMMY! I woofed it all down! I didn't get any while mama and pop were eating, and it wasn't scraps from the table so mama guesses it's OK.
I think now I just may get some chop meat added to my food at night. And since I'm getting this special treat, Frankie will get lucky and have some too! Mama would never leave him out of this special treat! I hope I stay hungry.

My First Year

Woof woof to all my pup pals. My mama thought it was about time I start a diary so here it goes. Since I just turned 1 I will fill everyone in on my first year. My mama and pop adopted me last summer when I was 8 weeks old from a mobile adoption van. Mama was home sick from work and decided to check out the dogs for adoption. They lost their Staffordshire Terrier Brutus a year ago, and were starting to feel ready to have a pup again. Mama saw a beautiful Rottie Mix when pop turned her attention to me. I tilted my head and looked at her with my sad light blue eyes and she fell in love. I'm a husky/Lab mix and they thought that I was just so handsome! After her paperwork and references were approved and checked out Mama and pop took me home. I was so tiny they carried me home in a tote bag! After a brief chat they decided to name me what else "Sinatra" That weekend we went to the vet so I can begin my shots, and found out I weighed 9 lbs. Can hardly believe my 50 pound plus body was ever that small. Once I turned 16 weeks and had all my shots up to date mama and pop could finally take me out. I discovered that I lived on a beach block, and that I love the sand and to dig holes. I also found out that I love to chase Geese and take long walks on the boardwalk. I'm a lucky fella to have found them, and they are lucky and blessed to have found me. I have a lot of energy and love to run and play all the time. I'm sad when everyone needs to leave for work in the morning. Just before Christmas when I was 6 months old they decided that a companion might be a good idea, and started looking for a brother for me. December 26th, the day after Christmas I got the best gift ever. My baby brother. A nine week old dark brown pitbull. I was scared of the little guy at first, but once I saw how sweet he was I was happy and excited. Mama and pop names him what else "Frankie".
We now do everything together. We are best best friends. We shared our first winter together playing in the snow. What fun. Now I show Frankie how cool the beach is. I love playing tug of war and fetching a ball. I love to eat ice cubes, grapes, broccoli, and popcorn. I love to snuggle and give kisses on the chin. I love to play fight with Frankie and share my bed with him. I love when I get milk with my food. I love taking rides in the car. I hate getting a bath. I hate when people talk to Frankie and ignore me. I get jealous. Its been a great first year. I can't wait to see what else life has for me.
