Birthday: April 18th 2009 Likes: playing with puppies Pet-Peeves: kids that haven't passed their PAT Favorite Toy: his kong Favorite Food: Honest Kitchen - Zeal Favorite Walk: Anywhere with his girlfriend Karma Grace! Best Tricks: Getting someone a tissue when they sneeze and whispering. Arrival Story: After 2 failed attempts, I finally found what looked to be the light at the end of the tunnel. I found Axel's breeder, and temperment tested the puppies. All passed, but Axel's scores were the best. He has been with me ever since, and is well on his way to becoming my Service Dog. He has already, managed to save my life numerous times, and I am forever in debt to him. God bless the Chocomonster. Bio: Axel has passed his public access test, making him a full Service/Assistance Dog! He has 2 legs to his CD title and 1 leg to his RN title. We hope to get his CD and RN title in Feburary in Indy. Wish us luck! The Groups I'm In: ♥ Paws with a Purpose ♥ I've Been On Dogster Since:
So a week ago, we moved over 2 hours away! I wasn't nervous at all :). We moved in with a friend, who happens to be my trainer and mom's new boss! She's such a blast to be with, and owns my girlfriend, Karma Grace. Karma is a hot mess, but she's awesome. I'm meeting hundreds of people, dogs, cats and other animals on a daily basis. It's so stimulating! I still am in training, and am also learning new things every day.Karma and her mom are great teachers. I'm also helping to raise a puppy, Texas, the Doberman SDit! Texas is right now, almost 10 weeks old and weighs less than 10 lbs! He's a little guy, but he LOVES me. We cuddle ALL the time. But I don't want mom to see me do it! She just can't know!
Oh, and mom's changing my registered name. My call name is still going to be Axel, but my registered name is changing from 'Chocolate Kisses Axel Grease' to 'Gimme Grace's Holding it together'. I think my new name makes a lot of sense. Axel means several different things, including the part of the car that literally holds the wheels together. Also, as a Service Dog, I hold mom's life together literally and figuratively.
Sorry for not updating my diary sooner, things have been pretty nuts lately, but I'll do my best to update it more often!
Mom told me I'm getting a brother! He's not born yet, and won't be born until the winter time, but he's coming! I'm so excited. Someone to romp and play with. Mom said this dog is going to be trained to do service work too, as a back up for me when I get tired or have a long day. But she promises that no one is taking my place. Yay siblings!
So, mom isn't doing well. She's having a big problem with hurting herself. She told me that soon, we are probably going to take a trip to a place called Menninger, all the way in Texas! I've never been on a plane, but mom said I'll do just fine. She's pretty confident in my abilities.
I'm scared for mom, but knowing that I'll be with her makes it better. I just want her to be healthy again. She means so much to me, I'd do anything for her. I hope she knows that.
Well, say your prayers that she gets into this place!!
