Badges:
Rainbow Bridge
Quick Bio:
-purebred

Birthday:
April 22nd 2009

Likes:
Rollo loved chewing his favourite toy cow 'Moo Moo'!

Pet-Peeves:
He didn't like sleeping on the floor - he wanted to be in bed with me!

Favorite Toy:
Moo Moo!

Favorite Food:
Rollo was still on his puppy diet, but he tried chicken and liked it!

Favorite Walk:
He was too young to walk, but loved being carried everywhere!

Best Tricks:
Falling asleep on the spot when he got tired - we had to move him to his bed!

Arrival Story:
We were the lucky keepers of Rollo, who was a little tearaway! We got him from a very reputable breeder with over 30 years of experience breeding Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and he was wonderful! My childhood dog Honey was a blenheim (white with brown) Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, but I had always wanted a ruby (reddish-brown) one, so Rollo seemed perfect!

Bio:
Unfortunately, after a few days of owning Rollo, he developed a fever and diahorrheoa. He stayed at our vets overnight to get fluids and be observed, and after his symptoms got worse, he was referred to ChesterGates Veterinary Hospital, where he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus due to a birth defect and secondary problems including seizures, high levels of red blood cells and potential liver problems. He was due to have many tests and scans, but sadly passed away in his sleep overnight. He was 10 weeks old exactly.
