Our first year in our new home

We finally are unpacked and everything is where it should be, I've made a TON of new friends, I've got julie and teddy (my best poodle pal! we play every single day! and julie always lets us come in and get snacks and play in the house too!) I've got lucy the lab next door and her human kids, caleb and izzy, izzy is the best human little girl, we go for walks, we play.. she is so cool!
I dont miss our old home at all... well.. I do miss my uncle mikey.. he lives much farther away now.. we cant play like we used to! but my nama (my human grandma) and my nampa (himan grandpa) moved down the street from us!!! and my shi tzu uncle cubs and shi tzu aunt nixi came too!
my other friends are a pug and a terrier from the other side of us, they live in a fence, but we still have fun together.
and I HAD a pool this summer... julie had to get a lower gate... before I could just run under and jump in and swim! and mom and julie thought it was funny, but said I couldnt do it without "supervision" so they fixed the hight of the gate..
mom says I should slow down, I'm an old man now.. but shes so wrong! I'm only 6!

Life is Good. We might be moving soon, there is a park nearby and two blocks over is the post office, and we can go on our walks again! I hope we go there, Cause of the area, its full of playgrounds and parks, and places to walk, perfect for me. But thats not so good for dru, I wish she could go for walks like I can. and we're leaving my doggie grandma! and my uncle mikey, and doggie uncles cubie and ozzie, and my doggie aunt nixi! *cries* maybe I dont want to leave!! Now I hope it doesnt happen!
We have a new baby! I dont care much about him, but hes...... a cat!!!! He's wierd, doesnt want my toys, and steals my water! But he's a baby, what does he know? I'll teach him good! and He has got to learn his place! He thinks he can just sit on MY mommy? NO. NONONO. But like I said... he's a baby... I'll be patient with him.

Its AUGUST?????!

Wow! time flies! Mommy is mad at me, cause I still havent gained any wieght, but I'm happy cause the vet said we'll just have to stick with the latest plan and keep doing what we are doing.. which means... NO MORE VET!! YAY!
Mommy bought me a new squeaky frog, and an orange 3-d squeaky bone, I love them both so much! I squeaked the froggie for almost two hours! but I fell asleep..
Mommy bought a new vaccume cleaner... its scary and even though I run and hide... I know its plotting to find me and scare me out... I know it.
Mommy has the flu, so I've been sleeping with her on the couch, and taking care of her, bringing her all my best toys and chewies and even some kibble... but she wouldnt eat it... so I stole her sock! hehe!

febuary.

The snow is melting! I cant wait for it to be gone so I can run and chase the outside kittie. dru beat me up and hurt my ear, so I ran to mommy and cuddled her under her blanket and shook and shook, it hurt so bad! but mommy is mad at me now, I jumped up on the bed while she was asleep and peed on the blankets on her. and she had to get up and wash everything, I dont know why she was so mad... I just couldnt hold it! and I wanted to snuggle, but when I got up there.. I Had to go! and was all ready to snuggle, but she put me on the floor and took the blankies away! I just wanted to sleep. and thats the other thing I dont understand... why cant we sleep with mommy? all that room on that comfy comfy bed... she doesnt need all of it! we got special buiscuts made for us on valentines day.. I want to go outside!! stupid snow! I ate a box in my frustration.. and a pair of mommys underwear from the hamper... she was so mad! we'll play video games and watch friday night tv, snuggle on the couch and it will all be better :) I know mommys got a new chewy in the cubbard for me!

Yappy New Year!

wow its 2005! uncle mikey snuck me some roast! but mommy found out and scolded mike. he said she was a bratty sister and a mean mommy and it wouldnt hurt me. but I had diareea later... mommy gave me and dru each a chewlotta for the new year, and we watched a lot of tv, we went out to play in the grass, and then got a bath, the blowdryer felt so good! I used to be scared, but I'm a big boy now, and know its good not scary!
dru and I got into a fight and dru accidentally bit mommy trying to get her off me, I'm glad it wasnt me! I was so scared! she was having a nightmare and I got too close and she woke up fast and then was all over me!
were going to visit the shitzus today! yay! I scare them, I go all fast and they get nervous! even as a puppy they couldnt keep up with me! they live with grandma, she always sneaks us treats and makes mommy mad!

Christmas

Mommy gave me and dru an early christmas present last night, a nylabone! I got chicken, and dru got beef, but dru beat me up and took mine and then ran off to chew on them in her hidey place by the couch.
mommy and I played tug for an hour and a half last night, then she got tired and we just played fetch with her laying on the couch. then we snuggled and watched law and order, mommy fell asleep so I had to bite her nose to wake her up, it was way too early to go to bed! once she opened her eyes I grabbed my toy and showed her, and she just looked at me! didnt even play at all! but she played with me extra this morning to make up for it!
mommy had surgery on wed. it was scary, then uncle mike came over, but I wasnt going to let him near my mommy! he may be her brother, but I know best!, I stayed right by her wound, and kept dru away, she had to stay by the pillows!
I'm the man of the house! I'm the one to take care of mommy!
