Ive been with my new family for a little over a month now. Boy is it different. I get to go in the house, sleep with my mom and dad. I have two (human) brothers that take me for walks and play with me all the time. I have tons of toys, a pool and all the attention I need! Life is good. I wasnt so good at first and I think my mom was going to loose it! But my family took me on my first camping trip to the Sierras. I think we all learned a lot during the trip. Im listening so much better. I feel much more calm, safe and secure. Many of my "bad" habits are dissappearing. In the Sierras, I learned how to swim, I know, I should have known how, but I never had the chance before now. I love swimming! I chased birds, squirrels and even a mouse! Boy are they fast! We hiked to lakes everyday and mom and dad said I did real well. I encountered a couple of not so friendly dogs and they scared me so I tried to protect myself and my family! I slept real good by the campfire and really had a good time. I cant wait to go back! My mom and the kids go back to work soon and Im going to miss them a lot. Im going to be good and wait for them to come home so I can love them up! I still have some learning to do, but mom says Im real smart, so it shouldnt be a problem! I love my new life and my family so much! And I think they love me!
